Y/N's POV

The cold evening air helped me clear my mind as I jogged through the dense forest.
It took me awhile but after some time I finally regained my composure, stopping to assess the situation.
Looking back now I was embarrassed at how easily Ace had made me loose my cool. Why is it that of all the things and people that I have encountered this childish man has to be the one that gets me riled up so easily?
Sighing I looked around, silently nagging at my self.
"Well geez girl, who's the child now?"

I had been faster than expected.
Around me the dense forest had faded out into a large clearing that covered the highest point of the island. The sun had finally gone down, taking away the buzzing sounds of the wild life with it. Now I was standing there alone, with nothing but the distant crashing of waves to disrupt my silence.
I've totally lost Ace. I should probably go back and look for him.
Sighing I turned around just at the right time to see Ace emerging from the forest.

"Wow Y/N, you really are fast. If it weren't for your strong presence I would have never found you."

"Ace thank goo- Wait you could sense my presence?!?"

"Huh? Yeah, it's called Haki you know."

Ace replied looking at me with an expression that was practically asking me whether or not I was stupid.

"I know what Haki is you idiot. I helped you master it after all."
I rolled my eyes, turning my back to Ace's inquisitive stare.
The thing was that I had hid my presence. Normally noone could sense me when I did that. My aura was incredibly strong. Therefore I couldn't have forgotten to suppress it otherwise it would have definitely had some effect on my surroundings.
How can he sense me? Lou couldn't even sense me until we had been living together for like 80 years.
Frustrated I massaged my temples before stealing a side glance at the young man.
How is this possible? It has only been three years.
Three years... and I still can't wrap my head around him.
Letting out a defeated laugh I turned to march on.
"You really are a mystery boy."

"What was that?"

"Nothing, let's get going.
Oh wait, hold up! I almost forgot to transform you back into a parrot."

"What? Noooo not again! Why? I thought this island is uninhabited?"

"It is."

"The why would you do this to me again? Wait, are you still mad at me? I'm sorry Y/N! I swear I will never do anything to make you mad again!"

"I'm not mad you idiot. It's just that Lou didn't recognize you, when I first had those visions about you. Therefore she never met you in the past.
Also don't make promises you can't keep."

"Oh- ok. Wait we're going to meet Lou?"

"Yeah- Oh here she is!"

Just as I was speaking a strange vehicle appeared in the sky.
"It's the Luz! (your ship if you have forgotten) Come on Ace let's go!"

In no time I had changed Ace back into a fiery red parrot and placed him on my shoulder.
A warm feeling spread in my heart as I watched the Luz draw closer and closer.
Nowadays Ukuthula island might be the place I spend the most time, however at the end of the day my true home would always be the Luz.
From the day Nana left me it had been the vessel to carry me through my adventures. We had gone through so much together that simply recounting it would take a lifetime.

It didn't take long for the Luz to land after I had first spotted it in the distance and I couldn't help but feel pride well up in my heart. It had taken all my life to get it to this point. Over the years I had kept improving and innovating the ship, inventing new features and creating a truly one of a kind vessel. There was truly no better companion for an adventure. Well except for Lou and maybe Ace of course.
