Mia's POV
After I woke up, I slowly got better. It was hard, I had to train constantly to get back to where I was before... you know. The worst part was the night terrors. Memories from that awful place haunting me every second of every day. I often woke up screaming, covered in a cold sweat, shaking. It never ended.
It was April before I could shadow travel again without passing out, but Joey was there with me every step of the way. Anyway, it was the last week of May, so a month before I turned 15! I was really excited because I think Lucas had a special surprise for me. I was in the infirmary one day (I had become a healer now. I focused on that while I couldn't train), treating Lucas when he got all antsy. I sat back and sighed.
"Lucas, what's wrong?" He fidgeted with the sheet.
"I need to tell you something." I nodded for him to continue.
"I'm not who you think I am."
And I replaced a cliffhanger with another cliffhanger! I'll publish book 2 soon!
