With a "simple" life, a small Chicago city girl calls the police when she notices suspicious activity whilst going on her daily stroll, the intelligence unit over at the 21st district takes over the case, little does she know how her life is about t...
Ivys POV It was 9 am when she woke up, she couldn't hear jay moving around so she just assumed he was still asleep. Dragging herself out of bed, she walked over to the bathroom and turned the shower on, she began to take off her PJ's when she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror; turning back around so she could look at the mess the men had turned her into, she didn't cry, she just stared at the bruises, some of them yellow already and other still only starting to show through. The thing about a bruise is that the biggest and most worse looking ones are actually the least painful, the more painful ones are always deep down, easier to physically hide. She thought about scrubbing her skin as hard as she could to try and get rid of them but by the looks of her body it would take years to attempt that, she was riddled in head to toe with them never mind the cuts. She stepped into her first shower in about 4 days. She felt a sudden relaxation calm her down, showers always had done that for her.
Jays POV He finally woke up at around 9:45 am when he heard the shower running, ivy must be up he thought to himself. He scooted to the end of his bed before putting his shirt back on so he didn't make her feel uncomfortable by walking about without one on. He walked out to the living room ready to clean up the mess from the night before it when he reached the living room it was spotless and there was even left over pizza in the microwave ready to heat up. He shook his head in disbelief that she would do such a caring thing in his home. He smiled to himself as he knew she was special. The shower stopped running and ivy walked out the bathroom with a towel around her body and a towel around her hair. She thought jay would still be asleep but he wasn't, when they both spotted each other jay noticed she seemed startled by his presence. "God jay, you scared me" she laughed and rolled her eyes, "sorry..." he smiled and laughed before she walked back to her room. Jay took it upon himself to get a shower next. The thing is he didn't check for towels before hopping into the shower...
Ivys POV She had picked out her outfit for the day, a black lace body suit, some blue ripped jeans and a woolly cardigan to go on top. For shoes she had chosen some black doc Martin boots. She slicked her hair back into a low loose bun at the back of her head.

She had noticed while cleaning up before, jay needed a good stock up on groceries so she decided to take it upon herself and buy them for him. She was about to write him a note before picking up her bag to leave when she heard the shower stop and jay shout from the bathroom, "uhhh Ivy?! I kinda need a favour - could you pass me a towel?" She laughed at his forgetfulness and proceeded to walk towards the bathroom with freshly washed towels ready for him. *knock knock knock* She gently knocked on the door to let jay know she was outside the door, he opened the door ever so slightly giving her enough room to pass one through to him. She respected his privacy and looked the other way until the door was closed.
Jays POV He noticed when ivy gave him the towel through the door she had shoes on, he rushed to put his towel around his waist and walked out of the bathroom to find her sitting on the couch. She darted her eyes over to him wondering why on earth he seemed so skiddish and giddy. "You planning on going somewhere?" He interrogated her. "Uh yeah I was gonna go grocery shopping..." she cluelessly answered back, "not without me you're not" he insisted, she smiled at how much he really cared about her so she decided to wait for him so he smiled back.
Ivys POV The couch was perfectly lined up with the bed rooms so when jay left to go get changed she could see him perfectly. He must've only pushed the door till slightly because there was a gap in the door which she could see directly through, she could see him using his hairbrush as a microphone, she was snickering to herself for around 5 seconds not knowing jay could see her in his mirror, "staring is rude you know" he shouted through to the living room, she was confused at how he knew until she met his gaze in the mirror before laughing at her defeat. He disappeared from view but didn't bother to shut the door since she had already caught him singing. Around 5 minutes later he finally joined her in the living room with his casual jeans and t shirt on, his black combat boots almost matched hers. She laughed at him as he smirked at her knowing she was watching him clown around. "Alright lets go" he said changing the subject.
