Today was the day we were actually gonna have a ball. This was such a crazy idea but it's never been done before and the fans would go crazy over us wearing formal clothing. It wasn't till seven so we had a whole day to get ready. I wasn't much of a, spend a whole day on hair and makeup person so Tommy and I decided we'll go to the library and stream some Minecraft bedwars.

"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!" Tommy started to scream next to me.

"What?" I asked looking up from doing my job to protect the bed and saw Tommy on a path getting chased by the green team. They both had iron swords and he only had a stone. I quickly ran and bought an iron sword and went back to help him. We held off the green team killing them both. They stayed at their base when they respawned giving Tommy and I time to get tnt and both iron swords. We decided to sneak up on them; Tommy went for the kill and I went for the bed. I quickly place tnt, running away helping Tommy fight off one of the guys. Once they both were dead I went back and destroyed the bed. We waited for them to respawn to kill them both for good, taking out team green. In the time we did that there were only three teams left. We let the other two teams battle it out and gear up so when we did fight them we won with ease.

"Oh yeah. The best team right here." I cheered as the winning screen came up.

"No one shall ever beat us." Tommy declared but it was quickly broken as the next game we were the first team to die. And every game after that we couldn't ever get first, a lot of second places though.

"You really jinxed us after that first game." I glared at Tommy. He didn't argue which was surprising. "One last game then we'll end the stream," I said as we joined into the bedwars game. We got second again which was sad but it was a good ending to the stream. Tommy and I said bye to the viewers and ended the stream.

"You really should've kept your mouth shut." I spun the chair to look at him.

"You kinda jinxed us too by saying we were the best team." He argued.

"Okay, but at least I didn't go as far as saying no one will beat us." He sat there and pouted which made me laugh. His cheeks started to go red but I didn't think anything of it. He was just embarrassed as I won the argument.

"Well it's five so we probably should get ready." I agreed and we went our separate ways. The boys decided they were gonna get ready in George and Dreams room since it was massive. Us girls went to Niki's room. Everyone else was already there getting ready. Most were doing their makeup but some were done with their makeup and were doing their hair.

I went over and sat next to Lani and Drista who were sitting on the floor next to a big mirror. They both were almost done with doing their makeup, both of which looked beautiful and would match perfectly with their dresses.

"So are you and Tommy going to the ball together?" Drista asked me while she was putting on eyeliner.

"This isn't a prom. No one is going together. We just want to hang out." I took out my foundation and started applying it to my face after putting on the primer.

"Karl, Sapnap, and Quackity got matching suits and said they were only gonna dance with each other. So I think people are going with each other." Lani said, turning to me.

"Fine, some people are going together but not Tommy and I. We are just friends." I started applying the rest of my makeup. Nothing too fancy, it was just like a simple everyday look. For eyeshadow I decided on a simple nude and for my above the eye eyeliner I did black but for the bottom, I did a red color that matched my dress. It took about two hours to finish everything. The rest of the girls had already left to head to the ballroom as I said it was fine to be left alone. I finished up looking myself over and doing some final touches before heading toward the ballroom. The dress flew behind me as I walked, I kept a brisk pace, knowing I was the last one to get there.

I flung open the large double doors to the ballroom. Everyone stood around talking, it seemed so casual. Some light orchestral music was playing through the speakers that surrounded the room. As I wasn't paying attention the door slammed behind me and all eyes were on me. I gave them a slight wave and a whispered sorry before they all went back to their conversations. Tommy started walking over to me and I smiled. We coincidentally matched.

"You are so beautiful." He looked me up and down before staring into my eyes.

"Well, you are amazingly handsome." My compliment made his cheeks burn a slight pink which made me giggle. It was cute when he was so flustered.

"Let's get to everyone else," He held out his arm for me and I grabbed it. We headed over to the rest of the 'kids' where Tommy was earlier.

"Love the red," Tommy said as I got over there.

"Well, the green looks great on you. Love the usual black Ranboo." He gave me a slight nod before we started back into the conversation.
