Quinn's POV

"Why are you looking for Nick?" Sammy asks in a defensive tone of voice and with everyone looking at me it makes me feel like I am in the middle of an interrogation. "Some devasting news came to light and I just wanted to make sure that Nick was alright." Sammy is about to say something but quickly turns his attention to Victoria who starts kissing his bare upper body.

"It must be very important since you ventured here of all places." Reed laughs taking another drink from the bottle in his hand before passing it to Chaz. "Trust me, Nick did warn me about this place but I was foolish enough to think he was just trying to scare me." I fake laugh trying to cover up how out of place I feel right now.

"Did Nikki send you here looking for him?" Trevor asks taking a deep hit off the pipe and it is Reed who clears his throat before shaking his head. "Nikki and Quinn can't stand each other, trust me when I say that it would be a cold day in hell when Quinn does anything for Nikki." I incline my head at the truthful statement but still haven't gotten an answer of where Nick is at or if he is even here anymore.

"I thought you were aware of everything?" Chaz questions sitting down on the floor with the girl he was dancing with on his lap. "I am aware of what he did, and even if I haven't forgiven him I am still putting all that side for right now." Everyone looks between me and each other for a few seconds before going back to what they were doing. "What happened tonight that has you this worried about him?" Reed asks leaning forward in his chair.

"I went to his place looking for him after Nikki shattered my relationship with my boyfriend by telling him how close Nick and I got while he was away." Sammy and Victoria start quietly laughing. "Close? Is that what people are calling it now?" Sammy asks through his laughter.

"While I was there Nikki showed up and we had some choice words to say to each other before the truth came out about how Nikki has been faking her pregnancy this whole time just to hang on to Nick." The room goes quite with the only sound coming from the music that is playing throughout the house. "Poor Nick, I know that he was just starting to get excited about becoming a dad." Victoria says and I can hear the genuine caring in her voice.

"Nick overheard everything and completely lost it before storming out, and that is what brings me here because his family told me that this would be the most likely place he would be." A weird smile comes to the lips of several of the group. "Quinn? Just how well do you know Nick?" Trevor asks which results in him getting slapped upside the head by Reed.

"Nick doesn't seem like the kind of person to open up to everyone. I know a little about his family and personal life, but if you are asking about his past then I know petty much nothing at all." The room goes quite before Victoria speaks up. "Has Nick ever mentioned his time here on campus?" Victoria asking me this seems to make several people in the room very nervous or uncomfortable.

"The only thing he has really told me that is his time here slowly turned him into the person he is now, and the main reason he never talks about is because he has worked hard to put it behind him and believes those certain wounds will never heal." Victoria nods her head a Sammy crushing the cup in his hand and throws it across the room. "Some of us just thought that you were one of Nick's special friends?" I look at Victoria because the phrase special friend has a lot of different meanings.

"So the rumors of Nick and his reputation as a manwhore are true?" I ask as that little part of me that wanted this to be exaggerated. "Nick didn't really become that way until after he left here." Reed states then releases another smoke cloud. "I am starting to get confused." I look around to see everyone but Reed with the same unsure expression. "Nick was forced to leave college because his parents found out how he was paying for his schooling." Reed says then takes a huge drink finishing off the bottle.

"Reed, you have told her this much already, you might as well tell her the whole truth." Trevor says snatching a cup out of the hand of some guy before scaring him away. "Nick has already graduated from college back in Scotland, but when he moved here he thought he would pursue his other passions. Nick refused to let his parents pay for anything because he knew their money always comes with certain strings, instead for the next three years he paid for everything by taking up a certain job." Reed gets quite for a second and from the look on his face I assume that he is conflicted by telling me the rest of the story or staying loyal to his best friend.

"Nick was a Gigolo." Trevor blurts out like it is nothing. "Then when is parents found out they forced him to drop out and that is what lead Nick down the path he is currently walking down to this day." I sit there speechless knowing starting to understand a little but more about why Nick is the way he is, but this is something that I never would have thought of. "Emery wasn't lying when he said Nick was complicated like a Rubik's cube." I say finally finding words.

"Nick was a Gigolo? That means he was paid by an older woman for sex." I say in utter disbelief as I try to process this information. "Yeah I was." I hear the voice of the person I came here to find and I slowly turn around to see Nick standing there in the doorway wearing a casual sleeveless hoodie, grey sweatpants, black boots, and several different emotions etched onto his face.
