Quinn's POV

It's now January 15th and believe it or not I haven't seen much of Nick since Christmas Day, as for right now I am sitting in the living room wearing a comfy sweater, black crop top, and pair of daisy duke jean shorts.

"Oh Peter, you were so hot yet so evil." I say out loud to the TV while re watching one of my favorite shows 'Once Upon a time' when I see Brenton bolting it down the stairs obviously in a rush, "Where is the fire Brenton?" I asked him while he grabs his keys off the kitchen table before turning around to face me.

"I just need to take off for a little bit." I look at Brenton before pausing my show and standing up off. "How long are you going to be? You promised to look at my car today." Brenton sighs in frustration meaning that he must have forgotten. "I'm sorry Marshmallow, but the guys called me saying that need some back up for something." Brenton walks up to me and gives me a kiss on my lips.

"Why don't you call one of your friends to look at your car? Isn't Clay a mechanic?" I sigh nodding my head but before I could say another word Brenton is already out the door. "Love you!" He shouts closing the door behind him.

I don't call Jared because I know that he spending his day off with this girl who he calls a blonde haired goddess that he spending all his spare time with and seems really serious about, my dad is on the job, Uncle Evan and Uncle Caspian working today, Emery had just gotten to the gym for his fifth work out of the day, Chris is busy working on a new song with Alexa, Anthony was in middle of having sex with Amara, Clay said that he would be more than happy to look at it but I would have to drive it to the shop or he could look at after he gets off work tonight, and that left me with the option that I was trying to avoid at all costs.

The sound of the doorbell ringing suddenly makes my palms get sweaty and my heart speeds up a little. "I am already regretting this." I mumble to myself pausing my show before standing up and heading to the front door. "I find it very hard to believe that everyone you knew was busy but me." Nick's Scottish accent thick with cockiness as fight the urge to slam the door in his face.

"This is not ideal to me either and rather you believe it or not everyone was actually busy." Nick places his hands in his pockets with a smugness shining his eyes. "Shut up." I snap at him before letting him inside the house. "I didn't say anything, but I am curious about why you need help from Deadpool. Where is Captain America?" I turn around to face him almost smacking into his chest.

"He was supposed to look at it but something came up with his marine brothers." Nick nods his head while taking off his jacket and places it over one of the chairs in the kitchen. "In other words he ditched you." I roll my eyes refusing to answer him because his ego doesn't need an ego boost right now.

"I will take your silence as a yes." Nick says almost like he holding back laughter which only intensifies my feeling of hatred. "Who is all here?" Nick asks and I don't need to look up at him to know that he is staring at me because I feel his gaze on me.

"Just me basically, Jared is upstairs catching up on his sleep." I walk into the living room and plop down on the couch. "You mean that the two of us are alone?" I snap my head towards Nick with a serious look on him face because I know exactly what he is thinking.

"Get your mind out of the gutter Romero, I called you as a very last resort because I need someone to look at my car right now." Nick just shrugs his shoulders with a look on face like he doesn't believe me.

"I find it funny yet intriguing how neither one of can seem to get away from each other." Nick slowly leans over the back of the couch, "It is almost like there is this magnetic pull between us." Nick slowly whispers in my ear causing goose bumps to cover my body.

"I don't know what you are talking about." I say breathless and flustered while Nick softly laughs causing me to react again. "I guess the old saying of out of sight, out of mind doesn't apply to us." Nick softy uses his fingertips to take my hair out of the ponytail and lets my hair fall freely.

"I can think of a lot of things that don't apply to us." I say pushing his hands away from me and looking up at him with passion swirling around in his blue eyes. "Fight is all you want Little Dove, but our story is not over just yet." I break my gaze from him. "Our story was over the moment that your betrayal was discovered and you hurt me." Nick's face turns stone like as all emotion leaves his eyes.

"I already told you how sorry I am Quinn, I don't know how many times I can apologize." I scoff at him and laugh. "Till death, and even then I don't think I would accept it." I hiss at him standing up from the couch and I can see the hurt on his face but like a flash it is gone.

"In other words you are saying that you are never going to forgive me or trust me again." I nod my head with a serious look on my face. "Yet you keep letting me into your life." I stand there frozen unsure of how to respond to that. "Guess that makes both of us a little off our rockers." Nick scowls folding his arms over his chest and leans against the doorframe.

"I didn't ask you here to give me a psychological evaluation, if I want that then I will talk to my grandmother." I snap at him wishing I would have just waited and had someone that I could stand look at my car.

"fair enough, now if you are done with dragging your feet and playing these back and forth games, didn't you have a car for me to look at and fix for you? I walk past him making sure to hit his shoulder as I do and the two of us head into the garage.
