Elle's POV

I suddenly woke up.

It was 2:47 pm.

Then I remembered, Hanes's ride to the airport is at 3-ish.

He told me the other day.

Put on some short pants and some hoodies.

I went out of the room and called him

"hey, it's Elle on the line"

"oh, hey Elle. What's up?"

"are you going already?"

"almost, just waiting for Randy and his girlfriend, Jesse. Where are you btw?"

"I just got out of bed and called you because you're going back. Silly me. I'm by the corridor"

"then come here, don't you want to say goodbye?"

"we'll see each other in the next semester right? And I don't want my roommates to go crazy about me gon' missing again."

"just one goodbye, c'mon, please?"

"okay, okay. Where are you?"

"by the lobby, I'm waiting so come kay?"

"alright, I'll come."

I hung up.

And went to the lobby right away.

There I saw him with his luggage.

There's Randy and Jesse too.

"hey Elle!" Jesse squeaked

"hey Jesse, have a safe ride kay?" I said to her

"sup Randy?" giving him a brofist

"we're just waiting for Hanes" He replied

"where is he anyway?" I asked

"I don't know, toilet maybe?" He answered

We had some talking and laughing then Hanes popped out from no where.

"Hey Elle" He said with a smile

I smiled back, "hey you" I said

"so, where's your ride?" I asked him

"soon, anyway, I'm gonna miss you" He looked at me

"what?" I was definitely surprised

"come, follow me." He said

"yo Randy, be back in 10 or so" He yelled out while grabbing my hands

"right" Randy responded with a thumb's up

"Hanes, where are we going?" I said

"just follow me okay?"

Few minutes later

"okay, we're here" He said

"what are we doing here?" I asked him curiously

"nothing, just having a normal walk with conversation I guess?" He replied

"okay then.....I guess" I said confusingly

"stop here" He hold me up

"what? why? what's wrong?" I questioned him

"close your eyes" He said

I look at him with confusion

"are you going to do those cliché things to me? Like surprise me with flowers?"
