Summary: Corpse, a close friend of yours from high school, invites you to fill a spot in Among Us. As this was a rare thing that probably stressed your friend out, you accept. Though everyone was nice, you clicked immediately with Sykkuno, sticking to him like a leach throughout almost the entire stream, fans collecting the cute moments between you two.

"We have a spot to fill; anyone in mind," Toast announces after John left. This question was ignored by most of the group since Rae and Jack were usually quick to invite someone to fill.

"I could message Tina."

"I'd invite Ethan again, but he's filming with Mark today."

"Didn't Tina say she's with family today," Leslie shoots down Rae's suggestion, quietly acknowledging Jack's statement.

After a minute of contemplation, Corpse speaks up. His nerve grew as he announced a foreign statement.

"I can call my friend. She doesn't really play video games though, so I'd need a minute to help her set up."

All of the chats blew up. This was pretty much unheard of. Corpse never really invited friends to play that they didn't already know, especially ones that knew him personally. It seemed to risky.

"Yeah, go for it, Corpse," Toast says before Corpse shied away, "water/bathroom break?"

There are several hums of acknowledgment before Corpse mutes himself, both on stream and in discord. This wasn't to risky, as he knew that you adapted quickly since this actually wasn't the first time you'd be on call with him live, so he wasn't too worried over his real name being revealed, but the inevitable hate his dearest friend would receive.

Only after two rings Corpse is meet with a cheerful greeting, the one that he was so accustomed to, "Hey bubs! What's up?"

"Hey n/n. I have something to ask you; more like a favor."

"Okay, I'm streaming right now, is that okay?"

"Yeah," Corpse sighs, he didn't want to interrupt your stream, that meant he messed up your creative flow and he knows how hard it is for you to get it back, but it was too late now, "would you like to join our Among Us lobby? They said they'd give us time to get you set up."

"I wouldn't be bothering right?"

"They seemed okay with it."

"Yeah, okay, let me wrap up and tell chat."

Corpse hums as he listens to the you announce that your moving the stream elsewhere. When the stream is ended you take your laptop and phone to the other end of the room where the PC Corpse convinced you to buy, despite not playing very many games, is.

You follow his instructions in order to have everything set up properly, including the mod for proximity and the version of the game they were all using. For not being a gaming streamer, you were proud of how much you understood, only getting lost in the process three times.
