"Y/N, take Ichiro to his room. I'm going to talk to Oboro." Shota sighed, rubbing the back of his head as he walked towards Oboro, seemingly dazed, as he tried to shake him out. "Oboro. Oboro. Wake up."
"Cancel Ichiro's Quirk, Sho." Y/N just said, picking him up, despite him trying to cling to Shota's leg. Ichiko continued sulking next to Y/N.
"I really need to start quirk training you guys to control your quirks..." Shota groaned, before flashing his quirk at his son for a second, making Oboro wake up.
"Huh?"
"Sorry, Oboro, looks like the kids have been little pests tonight." Y/N apologized, before taking Ichiko's hand.
"They always have been, but I still love them." Oboro chuckled.
"I see you two got back. How was it?!" he yelled enthusiastically.
"Tiring. We found some shady little place where there's probably something illegal going on. Gated carpark with a garage part. Lots of very fancy cars going in, but looks almost empty most of the time." Y/N replied.
"Like a black market?"
"Either that or a front for something." Y/N said, looking at Ichiro who tried to climb out of the firm hold she had on him. "Stop that."
"He probably just wants to go to sleep already. Here, let me take him to bed. It is 2 am after all, it's no wonder he's fussy." Shota said as he reached out his arms to hold his son.
"Thanks, Sho." Y/N replied, handing him the child, before looking down at Ichiko who seemed to be way past the stage of fussy and was already hyper.
"C'mon, let's get you to bed." Shota cooed to the child as he cradled the son in his arms, before walking away to the children's bedroom.
"Sorry again, Oboro. I guess we better catch up tomorrow. We'll come in a bit later than usual to make up for some overtime, alright?" Y/N said, picking up Ichiko.
"And you, little Missy, go and apologize to Uncle Oboro." she told the little girl who was giving her an annoyed look, before looking at Oboro.
"Sorry, Uncle Oboro." she mumbled with a smirk on her face that let everyone know she was, in fact, not sorry at all. Shota smacked the Ichiko on the back very lightly, as he stood behind her.
"Try again." he grunted.
"Ouch!" Ichiko protested, before sighing.
"I'm sorry, Uncle Oboro." she finally said. Y/N nodded.
"I suppose that's the best we can hope for. Good girl." she replied. Shota rested an affectionate head pat on her head as he ruffled her hair, satisfied with that apology.
"I'm sure you're tired. Go home, Oboro. Nemuri is probably waiting for you there."
"She most likely is. If she's even still awake..." Oboro said with a yawn. "Alright, see you in the office tomorrow, guys."
"Get some rest. Good night, Oboro." Shota yawned as he waved at the blue haired hero. He looked down at his daughter, who was pouting. "Say it too, don't be rude."
"Goodnight, Oboro." she muttered, hiding her face against Y/N's chest. Oboro chuckled and waved at her, anyway.
"Goodnight, Ichiko. See you tomorrow." he said to her. Once Oboro had left the house, Shota collapsed on the living room couch.
"Fuck."
He was tired, but of course he had kids to take care of.
"Yeah." Y/N said, as she brought Ichiko over to the twins' room to put her to bed.
