The rescue had been successful. Eri had been eager to see Izuku, the one who promised that someone will come save her and gave her hope. She had already met Katsuki and Hitoshi, but she felt more attached to Izuku than anything. Izuku was so glad that Eri was okay even if he wasn't the one who saved her.
She was still badly shaken after they had managed to get her out and Izuku and Shota had been taking shifts watching over her while she had been at the hospital. It was almost taken for granted that she'd go and stay with Shota and Y/N once she was okay to leave the hospital.
Oboro and Hizashi didn't even hesitate to start organizing the papers for Y/N and Shota to adopt her. Eri's quirk and horn was starting to grow, and with Shota's quirk, he could watch over her. They were the perfect fit for her anyways. Now that Y/N and Shota were considered Pro Heroes even while they were still Vigilantes, they could legally adopt Eri, without having to hide her.
Y/N was busy for days trying to clean up the house to get it ready for Eri. She hadn't even realized how much of a mess the place was before this. And Eri, Shota and Izuku could be back any second now.
All the other kids were helping too, so it was easier, at least. Y/N heard the doorbell rang and knew it was time to wrap her arms around a little girl and welcome her to the new family. Y/N rushed to pull the door open, there stood a 6 year old, a 16 year old, and finally a 31 year old man who happened to be her fiance.
"Welcome back guys!" Y/N smiled. There was a loud noise from behind her as she opened the door. Y/N glanced behind her and saw Hitoshi holding... whatever it was, there was more of it on the floor.
"Sorry. I'll clean that up. I'm fine." he muttered in defeat. Y/N smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry, we're trying to clean up the house. You guys can come in!"
Y/N crouched to Eri's level. "You must be Eri, right? It's nice to meet you." Eri still clung onto Izuku's leg, but she relaxed a little, nodding in response to her question.
"I'm Y/N. You already know most of the other kids, right?" Y/N continued with a smile. Eri nodded again.
"We're glad to have you with us. We'll make sure that nothing ever happens to you again, alright?" She assured Eri, giving her a small genuine smile.
"Are you hungry, Eri?" Izuku, who was still holding her hand, asked her. Eri smiled and nodded quickly. Izuku didn't waste any time in getting her to the dining table and sitting her down, before raiding the fridge for something to eat for her.
"So is Eri our seventh kid now?" Y/N said as stood beside Shota.
"I suppose so. Ichiko's gonna be happy that we adopted a girl this time." he replied. Y/N chuckled as she rested her head on his shoulder.
