Stuck between 'I miss you' and 'I want to get over you'.

Travis.

She was scared to tell Travis. But why?

Why the fuck would she ever want to tell her ex-boyfriend that some guy got her pregnant?!

There was only one answer that made sense, and he refused to acknowledge or consider it until she actually told him so.

Having drained herself of all energy after that breakdown, she fell asleep again. This time, though, in his arms. He'd been holding her up when she started crying, her face screwed up in pain.

Why was she this afraid to tell her parents? Surely they wouldn't hate her as she said? Or would they?

Just like they hate Rehaan!

Her parents hated Rehaan? Dear God, he could only imagine what it must've been like for poor Rehaan. He could take a guess and say that it probably must've been because he's gay. Zach shook his head in dismay.

In the twenty-first century and people still find it hard to accept the fact that men can like men, and women can like women. Anybody can like anybody, really! Who're they to stand between two people who love each other?

Just like they hated her!

Her? Her who? Did she have another sibling? Does she still do?

Goddammit, he felt so frustratingly curious he wanted to wake her up so she could answer his questions. Of course, he didn't do that.

No, instead, he let her fall deep in her slumber, her breathing growing shallow. He moved one of his hands under her thighs, the other secured itself around her mid-back.

Picking her up in bridal style, he took her to her room, gingerly laying her down on one side of her bed. Kneeling down beside her on the floor, he rested his elbows on the mattress, his eyes taking her in.

She looked peaceful. She looked serene and beautiful. Her long, shiny hair was sprawled near her head. Her red lips so soft he wanted to touch them. She wasn't just beautiful in the physical prospect, she had beauty right inside of her. In her heart. In her mind.

She was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful people he's ever met. He couldn't understand why someone like her, someone just so good, would have to go through such family problems.

She deserves so much better.

She deserves to fulfill her dreams. And he knew she's working hard for them, too. He knew when sometimes she's unable to write before she goes to bed, she writes before breakfast, even when she's feeling nauseous.

When Mira came to their home a few days and Zara had gone to the washroom, he'd asked her how she's handling work stress. Apparently, Zara doesn't leave even a single second wasted when it comes to her work so that she has time for her own novel.

She wants to help people find themselves. People who don't know who they are. Who are unguided and depressed. Could there be any personal attachment behind this?

She wants to be successful and she's working hard to live the life she's dreamt about.

She doesn't deserve this pain.

If she wants to give up their baby for her dreams, then he doesn't blame her.

Because he'd do the same if he was in her shoes. And he is the father and is ready to give up their baby too. He also has dreams of his own and he has no place for a child in his life right now. Not now, not in the next three to four years.
