🍫Willy's P.O.V 🍫
"I just can't put my finger on it" I said in Dr. Loompa's office, the next day "candy's always been the one thing I'm certain of and now I'm just not certain at all. I don't know what flavors to make, I don't know what ideas to try, I'm around guessing myself, which is nuts! I've always made whatever candy I felt like and now I--"
I sat up, realizing it now.
"That's just it, isn't it?" I said "I make the candy I feel like, but now I feel terrible so the candy's terrible!"
Dr. Loompa took off his glasses and nodded.
"But there's still one more thing" I said, laying back down on the couch. "There was this girl on the tour, Esme, she's seems to have gotten me sick somehow."
Dr. Loompa began jotting down notes on his notepad as I talked.
"But I don't get it" I went on "I've always been careful when it came to germs. After she held my hand I used hand sanitizer and replaced my gloves. And yet she's still in my head and when I'm near her my heart swells up and my heads a mess and I have no idea what to say! What does that mean, doctor?"
He finished writing down notes and showed me the result. It was a picture of me and Esme kissing within a huge heart.
"What are you say? That I love her?" I asked him.
He nodded, smiling.
"You're sure this isn't some sort of flu virus?" I asked.
He shook his head no.
"But I can't be in love" I got off the coach "It's just not possible, it's not like I dream about her and... daydream of kissing her full lips and running my fingers through her soft hair. And hugging her and never letting her go and..."
I trailed off and looked up at Dr. Loompa. He gave me a knowing look and smiled.
I sighed. "Have you ever been wrong about a patient?" I asked him.
He thought about it, then shook his head no.
"Thank you, doctor" I said, leaving the office and grabbing my coat. I had to find Charlie and kiss Esme! Or at least apologize to Esme then kiss her!

Charlie was giving shoe shines outside a local candy store. I sat in the chair and read a newspaper to cover my face.
"Pity about that chocolate fellow, Wendell--er... Walter?" I said, trying to make my voice deeper.
"Willy Wonka" he corrected.
"That's the one" I said "says here that his new candies aren't selling very well, but I suppose he's just a rotten eve that deserves it."
"Yep" he agreed.
"Oh really?" I said "You ever meet him?"
"I did once" he said "I thought he was great at first, but then he didn't turn out so nice... He also has a funny haircut."
I looked down at him. "I do not!" I told him.
"Why are you here?" He asked me.
"I don't feel so hot" I told him "what makes you feel better when you feel terrible?"
"My family" he answered.
"Ew" I pulled a face.
"What do you have against my family?" Charlie asked.
