Cara

"I'm just saying, you should talk to her, it'll explain a lot."

"Marisol, I don't see what she can say to make me feel better, nothing would've stopped me from saving her."

"I know you think that, but they had their reasons." I sighed, as Marisol closed her eyes so the make up artist she was sitting in front of could apply some eye shadow.

We'd spent a few hours down by the pool, catching up. Even though it had only been a couple days since we'd seen her and Graham, it felt like there was a lot to catch up on. The two of them had seen plenty from the outside that we hadn't seen or heard about. Emma had assured me we would have a proper catch up later at the after party, she had been whisked away for hosting duties after our interview.

"I just thought our friendship would mean more to her than the prize money."

"It does Cara, she cares a lot about you. You saw how upset she was."

"It shouldn't have been such a tough decision for her, I..."

"Cara, girl I'm telling you, just talk to her. You'll understand."

"Can't you just tell me? You saw the episode." I let out an exasperated sigh, Lottie's decision to save Jo and Bobby over us had been playing on my mind from the moment she had uttered those words in my ear at the fire pit last night.

"No, girl I can't. You need to talk to her yourself. Can I get another coffee, please?" Marisol turned, directing the coffee question to the production assistant who was hovering around.

"You and your coffee." I said with a small laugh and shook my head.

"It's a way of life." She said with a shrug.

"You know we kept finding half drunk coffee's everywhere after you left the villa?"

"That happens at home too." She said with a laugh, once our giggles subsided she turned to look at me again.

"Just talk to her Cara, you'll see. Now, it's your turn to get glammed up."
She jumped down from the make up artists chair, and pouted in the mirror.

"And now it's also time to get this mess sorted out." She ruffled her hands through her long hair.

"See you in a few!" She waved over her shoulder as I settled down into the chair in front of the make up artist.

"Right, for you I was thinking just something simple, neutral. Highlight those cheekbones of yours, how does that sound?" The make up artist asked me.

"Sounds perfect, thanks." I gave her a small smile.

"Great, hold still."

I sat back in the chair and let myself relax while the make up artist worked her magic. It was nice to have this kind of pampering treatment, I loved getting my hair and make up done, neither were ever a strength of mine, I knew the basics sure, but to get well and truely glammed up, it wasn't in my skill set. So this treatment today made me feel like some sort of celebrity. I wondered what my life would be like now, Emma's career had sky rocketed after winning season one, and some of the other previous contestants have done really well too, like Mason, I couldn't look an a billboard without seeing his face these days.
But, Noah and I had such mundane careers before coming on the show, maybe we would just settle into normal, every day life.

"And just a touch of lippy, and we're done!"

"Oh wow." I said softly as I turned and saw myself in the reflection.

"I look amazing, wow. Thanks so much!"

"You're more than welcome hun! A natural beauty like you doesn't need much. Now they'll be waiting for you next door, to sort out your hair and get you into wardrobe."
