AZALEA'S POV:

I stepped forward closing my eyes. My heart was in immense pain. This is the only thing I could see.

But abruptly, I stepped back.

I can't do this. I can't. I can't hurt my child. Just because of me, I can't hurt this unborn. I fell on the ground as I didn't know what to do.
My stomach was aching too much along with my legs.

"Mommy loves you baby, she won't let anything happen to you. I'll protect you." I laid down on the bridge as pain took over me.

Why did you hurt me like this? Why would you make two souls suffer? I loved you with all my heart and soul and in return I get my soul and heart shattered. I was sobbing breathless when I felt my pendant on my neck.

I lost everything, everyone. What was my fault Igor? I slowly felt my surroundings going all dark and suddenly it became blank as I passed out.

SOMEWHERE:

I opened my eyes and I couldn't recognize where I was. My surroundings were blurry. My head was swinging as I closed my eyes waiting for drowsiness to pass.

I opened my eyes and figured out few things. I was on a bed in a strange room. I tried to move. I looked around as I can in my senses.

It's a hospital.

What am I doing here? I struggled to sit up. When did I come here? My head hurts..

"Hey Hey!!!! Don't, you should not stand up." a voice came from the other side of the room.

I slowly turned my head around and saw two boys standing next to my bed.

"Umm...you look weak. You must stay still." One of them spoke.

One of them had black hairs with box braids and tanned melanin rich skin. Another one was brown haired white- skinned with a manbun hairstyle.

Did they bring me here?

My memory was quite fussy as I couldn't remember anything after I fell on the ground. All those things going on in my head, I can't even remember how I came here.

"Well... Are you feeling better?" boy with box braids asked me. Both of them looked really concerned. I think they found me out there on the bridge.

I nod as he continued,

"Doctor said you and your baby are fine."thank god. I wasn't expecting this after what happened with me.

Another guy hesitated a bit but spoke,

"Umm.... I don't know if I should ask but uh... What happened with you?"

I couldn't answer that as my voice became shrill and I couldn't speak because of pain. Recalling everything is complete torture for me.

"uhh.... I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry." he said taking out his handkerchief and giving it to me.

I sat up straight as I felt some energy build up in me.

"I... I am Jadyn and this is my boyfriend Carson." The guy with box braids who happens to be Jadyn said as I smiled.

"We found you unconscious while we were on our way back home so we brought you here" the guy with man bun, Carson explained.

"I'm Azalea. Thank you so much for helping me. You two look so cute together." I said weakly as Carson hide his face, smiling.

"If you want, we can drop you back home." Jadyn offered as I looked away. What home? Everything is ruined. Where I'm supposed to go now? Life was never so useless to me as it's now.
