IGOR'S POV:

"I'll shoot." he warned, his legs kept trembling with his eyes flickering. If I don't do something soon, Adrik can be in danger. I won't let him do anything to him.
He placed his finger on the trigger, ready to shoot. Now I have no option left.
I fired the bullet, making it's way right inside his head.

But it wasn't just me who shot, there were two. Did he -

Everything paused around me as if I lost everything and now I don't know anything about what go do next.
I fell on the ground on my knees, not ready to see what happened with him. I lost him and I couldn't do anything.

"Adrik...!!! " Azalea screamed, rushing towards him even though her body couldn't allow that.

"It's getting heavy outside, his men are growing in number. " Sergei informed me.

AZALEA'S POV:

Just one shot and it was enough to make me stop breathing. Within a second, a bullet escaped his gun and there wasn't anything else left. My heart felt like hitting and shattering in millions of pieces while I stood, froze with my eyes not able to believe what happened now.
I don't even know what just happened with me. It all feels like a horrible nightmare. I want to wake up. But as it is said, it wasn't sweet and hence it wasn't a dream.

I tried to reach Adrik but Igor held my trembling body. I hugged him tightly, as my pain increased, making my heart almost tear apart. I buried my face in his chest sobbing my heart out.

"Igor- Adrik... He -" I tried going towards him but Igor didn't let me.
"Azalea, now you shouldn't be here. This is getting more and more dangerous" he cupped my face. I wanted to see him, my child, I can't live without him.

"Azalea, please calm down." he tried to comfort me. I know as much as I'm hurt right now, he's also going through the same amount of pain.

"Igor..... Why it happened with him? That little soul didn't even know anything. Why.... " I cried my heart out on his chest. Sergei picked him up from that place and rushed outside of there. I couldn't even hold him for the last time, my Adrik, you can't leave us like this baby. Why God had to do this with you?

Igor picked me up in his arms and took me outside as soon as he could.
There are dead bodies all around. People are laying on the floor like dead leaves in the garden. He rushed towards the exist of the house with me.

I could see anger in his eyes were overflowing to be released. We reached a black car with his guards surrounding him instantly. He placed me inside, kissing me for the last time before leaving and saying,

"I love you, Azalea. I will, till I have a single drop of blood in my body."
He shut the door close and the driver instantly drove off before I could say anything. His words felt like he wasn't sure if he will ever get to say this or not. Nothing will happen to you Igor, you'll be fine.

There were almost five cars following us, full of his men. I don't even know what to feel. Igor, Flora, Lev...Adrik. If anything happens to anyone else, I'll loose my will to live.

My pain became more and as I wasn't feeling well. My stomach hurts, my head hurts and my heart is already in pieces. I couldn't even hold him in my arms while he looked at me. I feel like a huge space in my life became empty. Even though world knew for few days, I had him with me for nine months, everyday I wished to hold them in my arms while chuckle and giggle along with everyone. Now that I had it, it got snatched like usual, as if I didn't deserve this.

In no time, we were at the bungalow with security almost ten times of what it was earlier. Three gunmen opened the door as I struggled to get out. They helped me walk inside and locked the door from outside. It was all dark everywhere. Just like my life right now.

I never wished for anyone's bad then why it's always me who has to go through so much. Why God..... Why? It this the price I will have to pay to be alive? If it is, I'm better dead. I collapsed on the cold floor as I heard someone approach me, running.

"Azalea..!!!! "

FLORA!!! It's her.

I turned around using all my energy and saw her crying, opening her arms for a hug. I hugged her as I felt little bit of relief in my body.

"Azalea... You're bleeding... Come, come with me." she spoke and held me, helping me to reach her room. All the windows and balconies were sealed close, making nothing in the outside world visible.

Getting inside her room, the next thing I saw made half of my world complete. Lev was on the bed, looking at me as I rushed towards him and hugged him.

"Lev! " I cried in happiness of him being fine, stroking his small face.

"Azalea, sit here, your wounds are getting worse" she took out the first aid box. Seeing both of them safe made my heart relieve a bit but them shifted towards Igor and Adrik.

She cleaned the blood and applied the anti spetic cream on it even though it made a burning sensation on it.

"Azalea, you'll have to stay strong for Lev. What happened with Adrik wasn't in our control, you will have to take care of Lev and be with him" she spoke.

"Azalea, this is Mafia. You don't know what coming up next and when. If you want to survive in it just one thing, never show you're weak. Never." she added and I sat without any expression left other than sadness on my face.

I'll be strong but right now my strength, my Igor is not with me. I can't even breathe in relief untill he's with me. But I believe him, my love believes him, he'll be alright.
