strawberries || taegyu ??

the three friends were now stuck opposite two giggling boys at the lunch table. beomgyu was feeding taehyun strawberries and the younger was happily taking them from him.

yeonjun then turned to soobin, "i thought he'd be more stressed out about this but it looks like he's loving it".

soobin then let out a chuckled and locked eyes with yeonjun, "wouldn't you be happy if your crush liked you back?".

the older sat in silence for a few seconds before softly smiling and nodding, "yeah.. i would". "oh my god who is your crush?!".

huening kai suddenly jumped into their conversation, making the two older boys flinch slightly. "ah it's- not anyone you would know".

the three were suddenly interrupted when beomgyu joined into their conversation, "don't lie, they know your crush really well".

yeonjun sent a look to beomgyu that said 'if you don't shut up'. beomgyu just laughed a little before turning back to the pouting boy next to him.

"you didn't have to lie to us, you know". the blonde boy turned back to soobin and put a weak smile on his face. "i'm sorry".

soobin then gave a look to huening kai to which the younger nodded at him. "do you wanna go on a walk?". yeonjun was caught off guard by the question but still nodded.

the two got up, leaving kai to deal with the 'couple'.

"can you tell me who it is?", soobin broke the silence between the two as they were walking. "i don't know", the younger tilted his head.

"could you at least tell me about him?". yeonjun turned to the taller boy and smiled again, "he is really pretty, his personality is amazing"

"he also really loves books which i will never understand but i find it really cute", soobin continued to quietly listen to the older.

"his face always puffs up when he eats, he smiles at almost anything but also gets mad easily.. it's quite endearing".

yeonjun then turned to look at soobin, who was weakly smiling at nothing in particular. "do you like anyone?" the younger looked up at him and nodded his head.

it made yeonjun's heart hurt a little but he hid it well. "my crush is the opposite of me. i'm quiet and shy while he's confident and friends with almost everyone"

"but that's what made me like him, i guess? the fact that we are so different". yeonjun nodded his head as the kept walking.

"what did beomgyu mean when he said that we knew your crush really well?", yeonjun sighed deeply and closed his eyes before turning to soobin.

this was it. "my crush is uh- he is really close to you". soobin then lightly gasped before looking yeonjun in the eyes, "is it huening kai?!".

the blondes eyes widened and he waved his hands out. "no, no, it's not huening kai-". he closed his eyes again and took a deep breath.

he opened them again and nervously grabbed soobins hands. "it's you soobin, you're my crush. this wasn't how i was planning to tell you and i understand if-".

he was cut off when the taller pulled him into a hug. he stood frozen for a second before melting into the boys embrace.

"you're my crush too". yeonjun backed out of the hug in shock. "me? you like me?", soobin chuckled and nodded his head.

"but let's not rush into anything yet. we'll start slow". the older brightly smiled before hugging the younger once again.

"wait you're both dating now?", the older two shook their heads at huening kai. "not yet". the youngest then groaned and fell back onto his bed.

the three were in huening kai and taehyun's dorm room since beomgyu had taken taehyun somewhere and huening kai didn't want to be alone.

"so where do you think he took him?", yeonjun thought for a moment before softly smiling. "he always talked about how he wanted to watch the sunset with taehyun"

"kind of cringe when i think about it-", soobin whacked the older arm and they both laughed together. "you two are so cute together, it makes me sick".

huening kai blurted out of no where making the older two laugh even more. soobin then turned to yeonjun with curiosity written on his face.

"when did you start to like me?". yeonjun looked up at him with pink stained cheeks. "our second year, maybe?".

~march 2019~

yeonjun rushed through the hallways since he was late to class and he didn't look where he was going. that caused him to bump into a taller boy.

they both fell to the floor and a book fell out of the other boys hand. "ah oh my god i am so sorry!", he continued to apologise as he bent down to grab the book.

at the same time, the other boy also went to get his book, meaning their hands touched. yeonjun pulled his hand away before apologising again.

the other boy just chuckled at him and they finally stood up straight. yeonjun couldn't help but stare at the boy in front of him.

the small dimples on his cheeks showing as he smiled and the thin glasses on his nose. the boy was perfect in his mind. "are you in my class?".

the other boy spoke, snapping yeonjun out of his thoughts, "oh um, sorry i don't know". the other boy chuckled once again and stuck his hand out.

"choi soobin, and you're choi yeonjun, correct?". the older froze in his place before shaking the others hand and vigorously nodding his head.

"i'm sorry, again. i should have looked where i was going", "it's fine, neither of us got hurt right?". yeonjun once again nodded his head before checking the time.

"i'm so late to my class, i gotta go", soobin stopped him before he could walk away. "we have the same class now, i'll tell the teacher you were with me".

the blonde couldn't help but smile at the younger boy. "are you sure?". soobin nodded with a small "mhm" and the two started walking to class together.

and that's how yeonjun's little crush began.
