I woke up the next morning and Jake was stretched out across my legs, "Get up sleepyhead." i say and he slowly opens his eyes "i cant hear you i'm asleep." he says as he closes his eyes again and nestles his head between my legs. I wack him over the head and he groans "bitch what was that for?" he asks as he lifts his head, "my legs have gone numb so get up so i can shake it off." i say and he laughs "you won't be walking for a while now" he says as he looks up at me, and i roll my eyes "shut up." i say.
"I'm fine." i say as i push him off me and start to stand up, a sharp pain immediately hits my legs and i fall onto the ground. Jake jumps off the bed and helps me up "i told you." he says with a smirk and i sigh "oh piss off." i say and he laughs "ooh we're getting feisty again aren't we?" he asks and i roll my eyes "no need to be sassy mr Powell." i say and he just shakes his head "i'll go make you some breakfast, you stay in bed." he says as he starts walking towards the kitchen.

"Bryce what is it?" i ask as i walk down the stairs, "We just gotta talk for a bit that's all." he says "lemme just get something to eat first." i say and he sighs "Really?" he asks and i nod as i walk into the kitchen, i grab a bagel and spread some cream cheese onto it. I walk back to the couch and sit down "all right big boy what's up." i ask while i take a bite out of my bagel, "Jadens coming back in 2 days." he says and i sigh and start to stand up, he grabs onto my arm and and pulls me back.
"Nope, everytime i try to talk to you about him you always run away." he says and i sigh "he's going to be here Lyd and you can't just ignore him." he says and i stand back up "yes i can."
