(Author's note: Hoi! Luna here. So I sorta hit my head and got a mild concussion in the middle of writing this so I'm gonna take a break from writing until I feel better. Hope you enjoy this chapter nonetheless! - Luna)

Jack suddenly regained consciousness, quickly opening his eyes. Upon opening them he found they were fixed on a white and black tiled wall. Feeling something cold underneath him, he looked down and saw he was lying on a black and white tiled floor. He began getting up to his feet, quickly realizing his memory of what had happened before he found himself there was hazy. "W-What happened?" He asked noone in particular. The area he found himself in resembled a Freddy's location but not like the Freddy's in Colorado he now worked at.

"There was Dave..and then springlocks." Jack held his head. “You should have listened to the darn tape!” Bringing his arm back down he realized his arm looked..different. Bringing it up more so he could see it more clearly than at his side, he noticed that the arm looked more shadow-like and seemed to have changed to a deep violet. Curious, he looked at his other arm. It looked the same as the first one. First he found himself in this place and now this? What was going on?

Jack chose not to dwell on that at the moment as what him dying meant fully sank in. His heart sank. “My pro-promise..I couldn’t save them.." He felt warm tears well up in his eyes. He couldn't save her..

What brother isn't able to save their sister twice..?

He thought, feeling the tears roll down his formally orange cheeks.

This was all his fault..

If only he had kept a closer eye on Dee..

If only he had tried harder to spend more time with Peter before his..accident..

He failed not just Dee and Peter but their parents too..Jack felt his heart ache even more at the thought of his parents, the wound feeling just as fresh as it felt over a decade prior when he heard the news that they had died..He felt the tears drip even more down his face, falling to his knees. If only he could go back in time..maybe just before he entered the Safe Room to put on his suit..but that was impossible, wasn't it..?

He sniffed and wiped his tears after sitting there crying for what felt like days. Did time even exist there..? Suddenly he felt something, like something was being tethered to him. A feeling which felt strangely familiar..a feeling he only felt one time, over a decade ago. After a few moments he felt like he was being dragged out of this realm he found himself in. He braced himself for whatever was about to happen.

"Sportsy?"

Jack heard a faint voice behind him.

"Sportsy?"

The voice repeated, this time sounding concerned. The voice sounded more clear as he was fully brought into consciousness.

Dave?

He thought, relief washing over him. His eyes quickly shot open, recognizing the sight before him. His eyes were focussed on the door across from him in the corridor he was in, an employee's only sign on it. This was..Freddy's. The one he worked at, and he was standing in the bathroom hallway almost to the Safe Room door. Was his death just a weird hallucination? He was taken out of his stuber by feeling someone gently touch his shoulder. He quickly turned around to see Dave in his springlock suit, looking relieved. "Are you okay? You were standing there for a little while just staring into nothing."

Jack blinked a few times. Was he? No, that time in that weird Freddy's and the springlock failure he had all felt so real. Was he still in the suit? He looked down at his body, seeing his skin was orange again and he wasn't in his springlock suit. "Weird.." He muttered to himself. "What was that?" Jack looked back up at the taller aubergine colored man. "N-Nothing. I'm fine." He hastily replied. "Okay..if you say so.." Dave dudiously replied back. "I'm gonna..get suited up now." Jack said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Dave nodded in understanding before Jack turned to the Safe Room door once again, walking towards it and opening it, the doorknob cold to the touch. He entered the room, not bothering to close the door all the way. If his second springlock failure taught him anything, it was to listen to the tapes. Picking up the tape from the small desk, he placed it in the tape player and pressed play.

"Hello? Hello, hello?" Jack listened to the Phone Guy's voice coming from the tape player. "Uh, welcome to Freddy Fazbender's Pepperoni's signature training tapes! Today you will learn how to put on a springlock suit! Sound fun?  Now in case you don't know, a springlock suit is an animatronic that doubles as both an animatronic and suit! Now to put the suit into suit mode, grab a handcrank and neatly compress the metallic parts to the side of the suit." Jack pressed pause on the tape player before grabbing the handcrank and carefully making sure the springlocks wouldn't come undone in the head and body of the cat-like suit. After that was done he pressed play again.

"Now after that, carefully step inside the springlock suit, making sure no metal pieces come undone and brutally impale you. I know from experience.." The Phone Guy coughed before continuing. "Uh-Anyway. Now that you're inside the suit you can entertain the kiddens, give them cake, and overall go on with your day! Isn't that nice? I'll make another tape tomorrow. Don't forget the company motto: Sweep it under the rug, it's probably fine!"

Click.

Jack heard the tape player turn off, putting the tape out and putting it next to the tape player. Looking at the springlock suit in front of him, he shuddered as he remembered the deadly springlocks penetrating his skin. Two times he's suffered a springlock failure and he didn't want to suffer another one. He swallowed nervously before carefully putting on the body of the suit, using his handcrank in case any springlocks came lose. He sighed in relief, making sure he didn't breathe on any of the springlocks. Quicker than with the body but still being just as careful, he put on the head. After making sure no springlocks came undone, he realized he was still tense.

"Are you done putting on your suit, Sportsy?"

Jack turned to the door, seeing Dave in the doorway with a big smile. "That looks good on you, Sport Old!" Jack couldn't help but smile back, even if it was small. "Thanks, Dave. I'll meet you outside." "Anytime, Old Sport! I'll wait for you out here!" Dave replied, walking back to the hallway. Jack walked over to the still open safe room door, sighing while trying not to breathe on any springlocks.

Today is gonna to be a long day..
