"Ryleigh! I have more news!" Tubbo yelled as he walked into her room. It'd been a few weeks now since he told the girl they'd be going to the United States.

"Yes?" She said, turning her chair around as she faced the brunette walking into her room.

"Tommy will be staying here a few nights before we leave so it's easier for Will to come pick us up for the airport. So like after he does everything he needs to do and such, we'll meet his dad halfway and he'll stay with us until we leave." She nodded in response, suppressing a smile.

"You two have gotten pretty close, haven't you?" Tubbo asked, a knowing tone to his voice. He sat on her bed as she rolled her eyes and turned to face back towards her computer.

"What are you suggesting, Toby?" She asked.

"Well maybe there's something more going on." He said slowly, making sure he worded it correctly. He was also a tad bit hesitant of his sister's response.

"Maybe, probably one sided though." She admitted by accident.

"One sided? Really? Leigh one thing he is known for is his hatred for quote on quote women. Surely you don't believe it's one sided." Tubbo explained.

"Quote unquote." She corrected, not wanting to participate in the debate about to go down.

"What?"

"You said quote on quote. Its quote unquote." She replied.

"Im dyslexic."

"That's why i corrected you."

"You're so annoying when you avoid topics you don't want to participate with." He said with a groan.

"I know." She said, a smirk overtaking her features.

The more the days passed the more she fell for the blonde. Although she was scared it was one sided, she'd be okay as long as they would be friends instead.

"You can talk to me you know. Honest i don't mind if you fancy Tommy or if he fancies you back. As long as you're happy and he treats you the way you should be, not the way Luka treated you, i'm happy too." Tubbo reassured.

"Okay, maybe i fancy him a little bit." She said, turning to face him. He gave her a sarcastic look and she sighed. "Okay maybe a lot. Im scared to fall for him though; it'll be fine as long as we stay friends and he never knows about my stupid little crush." She confessed. He smiled in content and nodded.

"Might not be one sided, Leigh." He said softly as he left the room. She sighed and blocked out what her brother said, not trying to give herself false hope because why would anyone like Tommy like someone of her being?

Ryleigh lived in her own bubble of denial for the safety of her heart again. She can't be hurt the way Luka hurt her again. Manipulation, abuse, just constant emotion and physical pain.
