Different sides of the track

They were pedaling their bikes as fast as they could as Lucas's dad was chasing after them.  Skye ordered, "Split up!"  They followed her command and went in different directions.  It's been about five minutes and Skye was positive she lost Mr. Throndson, she saw Jentzen pedaling on the road and she waved him over.  Skye climbed onto her flat roof and Jentzen went up after her.  Skye was smiling while panting, "That was so fun!"  Jentzen smiled, "No kidding!"  They looked up at the night sky with the stars shining light over Appletree county in Bozeman, Montana.  Jentzen sighed, "You know Skye, you obviously don't have to answer, I never really knew how your family passed."  Skye looked down, "I remember it way too well, My mom had head cancer, my brother was snatched, and my dad..."  She unnoticeably blinked back tears and continued, "There was nothing wrong with him, after my mom and brother died, he just stared at the wall, barely eating for three days, I spent a lot of time at friends houses."  She looked down, "The last time I saw him alive was when I went to Reese's house, after that playdate I went home to my aunt's house, she told me that my dad died, the doctor said that he just lost the will to live, I wasn't enough."  She then started crying hysterically, Jentzen hugged her and softly said, "I'm sure that's not true."  Skye looked up to the sky and thought to herself silently, "Please dad, do anything to tell me that isn't true."  Then the most beautiful northern lights of blue purple and green shown in the sky.  Skye pointed out, "Look!"  They stared in amazement, Skye smiled to herself, that's all the proof she needed to know, her dad truly loved her.
