Ian and [Y/n] walked to the gas station, Ian pulling Will along with them.
“Dad! Come on, it's okay. Barley is with me.” Ian said, as Will’s leg went to search around for Ian.
“Yeah, I'm fine, Dad. The side effects are supposed to wear off eventually. Do I look any bigger yet?”
The group looked up when they heard the sound of motorbikes.
Four motorbikes suddenly parked in front of the shop.
Suddenly little sprites pop out of the motorbikes.
The three teens exchange a look.
An elf came out of the shop just as the sprites were about to enter the shop.
“Hey! Did you just bump into me?” The one at the front asked.
“Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I didn't see you there.” The elf apologized.
“Do it again, and you'll see me in your nightmares.” The sprite threatened, making the elf run away in fear.
The sprites pile on top each other, and opened the door, going inside the shop.
Barley, Ian and [Y/n] exchanged nervous looks.
Ian opened the door of the shop, and they walked inside, seeing the sprites raid everywhere.
From the coffee machine, to the snack rack, even to the front desk.
“This one's lucky. I know it.”
“Give me a bag of extra-sours. Keep the change.”
That one walked up to them.
“Outta the way, beanstalk.” Ian walked out of the way, allowing the sprite to go through the door.
[Y/n] shifted closer to Ian, and grabbed his hand that wasn’t holding Will’s rope. Ian intertwined their fingers, gripping her hand tighter.
They walk up to the front desk.
“Uh, 10 on pump two, please.” [Y/n] said to the counter guy, placing the gas can on the table.
Barley jumped out of Ian’s pocket, and grabbed some snacks from the rack.
“What are you doing?” Ian asked him.
“I'm getting us food.” Barley answered.
“All right, we got it. And a couple of these. Thank you.” Ian said, as Barley jumped back into Ian’s pocket.
“Psst. I have to go to the bathroom.” Barley said.
“Can it wait?” Ian asked annoyed.
“It's your pocket.” Barley stated casually.
“Eww.” [Y/n] said in disgust.
“Can we have the bathroom key, please?”
The receptionist handed the key to Ian.
Ian bent, as Barley jumped down from his pocket, and handed the key to him.
“Okay, be quick. I want to get out of here.”
“Okay, I'm going'.” Barley said, taking the key and walking off.
“That'll be 12.99.” The receptionist said.
As [Y/n] and Ian turned to pay the receptionist, Will accidentally stepped on one of the sprites.
“Hey, watch it!”
“You got a problem, Shades?” Another one standing at a counter asked Will.
Will’s body bent towards her.
