Nick Is supposed to be performing for the MTV VMAs next Saturday. He has no idea which song he was gonna perform. Bumping into a former Ex, Selena, a few weeks before the VMAs, they stirred up some pretty hot ru...
I was free. Like- actually considered free because I didn't have to worry about finding a song for the VMAs or trying to finish an album before December- I was free.
Since I was free, I decided to see if Selena was free. I called her-
'Hey, Nicholas! How's finding the song you're supposed to perform? I heard you're rehearsing today, you found the song?' She started talking right away, I didn't want her to care about the VMAs or me looking for the song.
'Sup, Sel, I was wondering you're free today- I wanna take you to lunch, is that going to be okay for you?' She stayed dead for a moment on the other end. 'Listen, Sel, if you're busy or if you have rehearsal-'
'I'm free, Nick, ask the question again-' She was messing with me alright, I decide to play along. 'I would like to take you out to lunch. Just you and me.'
'As in a date?' she asked, probably smirking. 'You can say that,' I scratched my neck nervously. Somehow, a man can come from all firm, to soft in just a few seconds.
'We're on, as long as I'm paying!'
'Oh no, you're not paying! I wouldn't be a man if you paid!' I argued. I felt her blush on the other side of the phone- 'Sure sure, Nicholas, you're such a man...' I laughed along.
'So, I'll be seeing you at 12?' She mumbled an mhm and so I said bye.
As soon as she hung up I flopped my body onto my bed and sunk below the mattress. I couldn't believe I just asked Selena out again! This might be the third time we'd be dating... but maybe it was going to go wrong... I don't really know, but I'll trust my gut and go with the damn flow!

Nick just asked me out. Nick JONAS just asked me out. But it was for the third time... what if he broke my heart again? I sat at the foot of my bed and stared at my phone. I heard the doorbell ring and I ran down. It rang for the second time-
'COMING!!!' I ran down and peeped through the peephole- it was Taylor!
I opened up and we shared a squeal, 'OMG, I missed you so much, Sel! I remember the last time we met- it was like last week I think! I can't believe we haven't seen each other for so long...'
I knew Tay was exaggerating, 'Awe come on, Tay, it's just been a week- plus did you hear about the MTV VMAs this Saturday? I'm receiving an award!!!'
'What song are you planning on performing, Sel?' Taylor asked me, leading me into the house.
'I was thinking maybe- actually I don't really know.' I thought out loud. It was true though, it didn't really concern me until now.
'Well I'm sure you'll think of something- but right now, I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!' I squealed and hugged her.
