"Good Evening, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight is a special night! Our first performance tonight will be out here in a few minutes- we will present the nominees for tonight's New Best Artist. Are you ready!!!!????" 

Everyone cheered as I clapped along. Joe sat next to me, Taylor on his right and Selena on Taylor's right. She was going to have to go backstage in 10 minutes, she was performing after Rihanna's performance.

"First of all, we have Shawn Mendes!" the stadium fills with claps and cheers. I clapped along with everyone. "Next we have... Zayn!" I knew this was coming. Zayn is an amazing singer- and I know so myself. I love his music. 

The host waited for the hall to quiet down. "Nick Jonas!" he boomed and everyone whooped. I gave a smile shy smile as the camera focused on me.

"And last of all we have... Char-lie... PUTH!!!!" Everyone cheered at him as well. 

"I have to go-" I heard Selena whisper to Taylor. "I'm gonna be fixing my makeup back there!"

"Break a leg, Selly!" I heard Taylor hiss at her. Joe nudged me and I nodded. "I wanna see who wins, dude!" Joe glared at me and continued looking at the host.

"Now- the winner of this Nomination goes to... can we have a drum roll, please!?" He said as he raised his hand in the air- the drums rolled and I leaned forward in my chair. 

"The winner of this nomination goes to... NIIIIICKK JOOOOONNNNAAAAS!!!!!" I got up, raising my hand in the air, surprised. I didn't know it was the NEW BEST ARTIST I was winning- I thought it was just a lame title or something. 

Joe got up to pat my back as he clapped, so did a bunch of other celebrities. 

I walked up the stage, waving at the audience. Most of them waved back. 

The music started while I made my way up- Jealous, playing in the background. 

"Thank you so much- I would like to thank all my fans- my supporters, and most of all, I would like to thank my family, my brothers, Joe, Kevin- Bonus Jonas Frankie-" everyone laughed. "I'm sorry, he doesn't like being called that- anyway, I'm shaken that I even got this award- thank you so so much!" 

I raised the award in the air shook it as confetti fell from the sky- awe yes, I always wanted this award, since I was little.

Joe stayed silent throughout the speech, and I knew exactly why.

After the speech, Rihanna came out and took over the show with her hit Umbrella. I was really proud of her, she had a great voice and she was a great performer as well. 

About halfway through the song, I excused myself and Joe- we were supposed to go backstage while Selena was performing. 

"Whew!" I said, looking over at Joe, still smiling at the sight of Rihanna. "Well, that was great" I wasn't the type of person who found award shows interesting- especially when I wasn't receiving an award or nominated, so this one was special.

"Haha- let's get you ready li'l bro!" said Joe, patting my back roughly. We went into my dressing room, which was surprisingly still there, and chilled for a while. I heard Demi outside and quickly ducked, afraid she was gonna come in and see me. 

This was like a school assembly- everyone was expected to out there- not in here. 

I heard the song end and the next award nominee- it was Selena's turn to perform. I grabbed my guitar from the stand and went to the guy.
