Ursa was looking down while playing with her fingers, a habit her daughter has as well Y/n notes.

"I hope that one day you can see me as more than just the person who you believe ruined your life," Ursa admits carefully, acting as if Azula was a bomb waiting to explode.

Azula's eyes widen. For just a moment, Y/n can see a hint of regret no... guilt in Azula's eyes. The raven-haired girl's eyes went back to normal as quickly as it widened. The look for guilt replaced with irritation.

"My lady, I hope you understand that I may be in this place for the rest of my life, so I believe that will never happen..." she stopped. "Nor do I wish it."

"Azula," Y/n warns with a low tone. She doesn't want the newly renounced princess to end up in a situation worse than the one she was already in. Sure, Azula's cell was beautiful, but it was lonely. She was rarely shown respect by the other doctors.

Ursa looks at Azula with remorse at her daughter's response. She lets out a soft sigh before looking back down at her fidgeting hands.

"Azula! Don't say such things!" Zuko scolds, getting up from his seat. This shocks Y/n. She never thought that the Firelord could be so hot headed.

Azula raises an eyebrow at Zuko, staring him up and down with such judgment she could've passed for a judge.

"Isn't there something called freedom of speech, my lord?" Azula says, earning a slight kick at the leg from Y/n.

The doctor closes her eyes in frustration, then looks over and sees Ty Lee look at her.
Y/n furrows her brows at this.

"Well actually," Ursa says with a sigh, biting her bottom lip as if she was afraid of what she was about to say next. "We came here to ask if Azula would be able to come back to the palace."

Azula's eyes widen.

"What?! Your majesty I- I decline!" Azula  blurts out, trying to be spitefully respectful.

"Come on Azula! You don't have to speak with formalities. Just say what you want to say!" Zuko orders, his face almost red with anger at the sheer amount of disrespect his sister was giving him.

"Okay then, here's what I've been trying to say," Azula states as she gets up from the couch. Y/n looks around the room wondering if there was a popcorn machine for this movie theater. "Why the fuck would I want to go back to the palace with you? Especially with that woman!" The raven-haired girl questions while screaming.

Y/n smirks, covering her mouth with her hand as she continues watching this conversation. So much for formalities.

Azula takes a deep breath, Zuko staring at her with shock and anger.

Y/n only groans quietly, leaning back on the couch. How much therapy am I going to have to do in order to save this mess of a family? These people come and ruin everything so quickly.

"Although you may not like it, she's still our mother! She gave birth to us, nursed us when we were young, cared for us as toddlers! She did everything for us!" Zuko responds yelling. Y/n wonders if she's being paid part time for this.

"Everything for you!" Azula snarls, giving him her signature death stare that could send an army general to an early grave. "Name one thing she's done for me!"

"She cared for you Azula," Ty Lee jumps in, capturing the attention of everyone in the room. "It may not seem like it to you, but she did."

"This isn't your conversation, circus freak," Azula harshly says, a look of hurt visible in the other girl's eyes.

"Don't you dare call me that," Ty Lee stands up from her seat as well. "At least I'm not stuck in a mental asylum!"

Oh shit!

"Rather stuck here than with 7 sisters that look exactly like me," The former princess scoffs. "Even your insults aren't original."

OH SHIT!

"Azula," Mai warns, her tone deep and sonorous.

"Don't even get me started with you Mai," Azula turns around to face the gloomy girl.

"You don't have any power over me Azula," She stands up and faces Azula head on. "I don't fear you."

"Ughhhhh!" Azula screams in annoyance, shaking her head in disbelief. ""I don't fear you, I'm not scared of you" Let me tell you something, I don't care!"

Y/n picks up her tea and take another sip, another way to hide the smile on her face.

"Maybe this arrangement won't be as bad as we all think," Y/n says, looking up at Azula then everyone else.

"What?" The former princess scoffs with disgust, sitting back down on the couch and staring at Y/n with disbelief. "You too?"

"Think about it," Y/n whisper over, leaning her head closer to Azula's ear. "In the palace, you'll be treated like royalty again. A comfortable bed, maids running everywhere just to get you your morning tea, servants doing your hair and makeup. You'll be free to boss everyone around, even Ty Lee."

Azula smirks with amusement.

"I'll go," Azula states with a superior manner. "But there will be conditions.
