What happens when they cross pat...
'I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW AMAZING THIS TASTES!' I exclaimed happily. 'Thank you...um..' 'Hawks' 'Thanks hawks.' He looked like an angel at that moment, not only because of his wings but also because of his grin. Since that day, our bond kept getting stronger and stronger, as well as his promise. The promise that he made to himself, saying that he will do all of his might to see that same smile he became fond of,
But he failed.
That smile will never be the same, it has disappeared long ago. It was caged and forgotten deep inside my heart, the only remaining of it was the faint memory that kept haunting me, every day. Even if I wanted to open my heart and search for it, I wouldn't find it. It was long replaced by a fake one, one that I despise and will always be bound to use.
The third memory was a year ago. We first went to the tallest building that could be seen in musutafu, [hawks flying while you were in the car with the chauffeur] he then took me to the roof and blindfolded me. 'Do you trust me?' Was what he said. I reluctantly nodded, afraid about what he had in his mind, but did it anyway. Slowly, he started pushing my back, indicating for me to walk, until I felt something hit my foot. That was the edge. He motioned for me to stand on it. The next moment, I couldn't feel the ground.
He pushed me.
Feeling the air hitting me, and my heart thumping in my chest, I waited for him to come and get me. I waited and waited, while I was approaching the ground more and more. If it wasn't for my quirk I would have said no, but i wanted to see if he really cared for me. As time passed, I felt small stabs in my back, not because of the air.
It was something else.
I was starting to lose hope. I was starting to lose faith in him. I started getting afraid.
Just as I was going to take off the blindfold, two strong arms embraced my figure, and the piece of cloth covering my eyes was taken, making a path for my vision to catch a glimpse of a smile on the face of the same person that pushed me.
"Finally! I was waiting here for an eternity!" Raising his arms above his head, he said in faux exasperation, while sitting on the couch, opposite of me. Slowly, he stood up and turned around, only to stop when he saw me.
I was wearing an outfit similar to his hero costume; brown shorts with a belt, a black top detailed with golden lines and shapes similar to the ones his top showed, a pair of long socks with the same colors as the shirt. The only thing that completely differed were the shoes. His were black boots while I had donned white sneakers.
