Love can be a fickle thing, especially once we feel it for the first time.

You may think at first that it is genuine, and was meant to last forever.

But then something unexpected happens, and before you know it, it turns out that it was just a feeling of infatuation after all.

This thought brings up the question. How do we know if the love that we feel is real?

The answer to this may be simpler than you think, for you're about to experience what it means firsthand.

It was a quiet weekend for you, and unsurprisingly, the thought of wanting to do something different for a change may seem like a healthy option, just to get rid of the feeling of boredom.

Fortunately, it's your summer vacation, and there are a lot of things that you can do to make your day not just productive, but fun as well.

Having decided to go out of your house today, you began to think of what you can do to make this day a bit more special even by your lonesome.

"All right, time to leave this place for a while. I can't spend my time indoors for the rest of my summer vacation anyways. But since my options are limited, going at the mall would be nice enough." You thought as you began to prepare yourself before leaving.

Once you're done, you then went to get to your car, only to be stopped by your mother, who saw you before you left.

"Y/N, where are you going today?" She asked you.

"Oh, umm, I'm sorry if I didn't tell you, eomma. I'm heading out for a while, do you want me to buy something you need before I go back?"

"Hmm, since you're asking, wait a minute. I'm going to get my list." She said, as she went back inside.

"Oh boy. It looks like I'm going to be shopping for groceries today after I have some fun. This is just great." You thought to yourself.

But deep down, you didn't mind. After all, you and your father are big fans of your mother's cooking, so the dish she'll cook out of the things you'll buy would be nothing short of restaurant-quality, at least by your standards.

"Here you go, Y/N. Also, make sure you come back before seven, okay?" She reminded you.

"Of course, eomma. See you later then! "You said, as you bid goodbye to her before leaving.

An hour later, you arrived at the mall, ready to make the most out of your little trip on your own. It's a shame that none of your friends are here with you, since they're all busy with their own summer activities. You felt envious about their posts on social media, where they take pictures of places where they are at the moment. You swore not to get outdone by them, as you hope that something special will happen to you before summer ends.

But for now, you'll be content doing what a typical guy would do in such a place.

Whether it's going to the arcade, visiting the department store to buy something for yourself, or even having your lunch at a place that's exquisite but within your budget range, the things you can do are plentiful at best.

With this, you decided to do it all while you're there, but first, you thought that you need to go somewhere else before all of that.

"Hmm, it might be a good idea to visit the bookstore first. I need something as reference for the book report that I have to do later." You said as you walked in the direction as to where it is.
