Sakura sat on her couch, staring at the blank screen on her TV.

"I'm home!" Sarada said as she walked into the house. "Mom?"

Sakura looked over at her. "Welcome home. You hungry?"

She shook her head. "I ate at dad's house before I came home. Are you okay?"

"Yea," she smiled. "I'm good."

"We should talk," Sarada said as she sat on the couch.

"I'm sorry," they both said. Sarada smiled. "Let me go first."

Sakura nodded.

"I've been thinking about something ____ said to me a few days ago. She said I'm lucky to have you as a mom. She didn't have a happy family, and neither do we sometimes, but she said that you'll always love me, no matter what."

Sakura's eyes widened. "She said that?"

Sarada nodded. "I know that you're sad about what happened with dad and that you don't like her. Honestly, at first, I didn't either, but she saved me from that Shinori guy and she was honest about everything. She took my feelings into consideration and was willing to give up her happiness with dad if I wasn't okay with it. I'm saying this because," Sarada paused for a moment. "I really care about ____. She's great and Dad is so happy with her. I want to be able to have you both in my life."

Sakura sighed and pulled Sarada into a hug. "I'm sorry. I don't want you to feel like you have to choose. This must be hard on you too, and I've been selfish."

"You're just hurting. _____ has helped me understand that. I think she truly cares about you, in a way and really feels bad about how much you're hurting."

"I don't think I can just get over it and forgive her. Not yet."

"You need time. I get that, and I'll be here for you, mom. I love you."

A tear slipped down Sakura's cheek and she smiled. "Thank you, Sarada. So, how are things"

"Oh! ____ said I could invite you to her baby shower! It's in a few weeks, so you have time to think about it," Sarada trailed off. "But if you don't wanna go, you don't have to."

"Uh, I'll think about it."

"Great!"

"How far along is she?"

"Well, she said she was 21 weeks when dad proposed, so," Sarada paused. "Around 25 weeks?"

"Oh, only three months left, then."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I can't believe you invited her to your baby shower," Temari said with an eye roll.
"I think it's a good idea," Naruto said.
"Did you forget what happened last time we had some sort of party? She ruined it!"
"Sakura is the mother of Sasuke's first child. We'll have to get along someday for Sarada's sake."
"That doesn't mean she has to go to the baby shower! Sasuke, what do you think about this?"
Sasuke glanced at me, then looked back at Temari. "I support anything she wants."
"Good answer," Naruto said with a chuckle.
Temari rolled her eyes. "Whatever. It's your shower. Now, let's talk about the event itself! At your house?"
Sasuke nodded. "In the backyard mostly."
Temari took a piece of paper and a pen off Naruto's desk and started writing. "So, do you want it to just be a small get together, or should we invite everyone? Ooo, we can come up with baby-themed games and have baby-themed snacks!"
I shrugged. "It's just invite everyone."
"Great! Now, will it be a gender reveal?"
"Nope. I'm keeping it a surprise."
"Why?" Naruto asked.
"Because it's a surprise," I said with a smile.
"Then, what should we do for decorations?"
"We could still do the traditional pink and blue, but I won't tell anyone the gender~"
"Cruel," Sasuke said.
Temari shrugged. "Don't bother me, I already know."
"Hn."
I smiled and grabbed Sasuke's hand. "The surprise is for you, so quit acting like a baby."
Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Alright, if Ino, Hinata, and I start now, then we can have everything for the baby shower ready by next week!"
"Let's have it in like two weeks, when Naruto and I have a day off," I said.
Naruto nodded. "Yea!"
"I'm so excited! Aren't you excited, Sasuke?"
He nodded.
