*I RECOMMEND LISTENING TO thinking out loud by ed sheeran DURING READING THIS CHAPTER ;(*
i sat in silence, the overwhelming feeling of anakin leaving my life hurt so deep, that all emotion was invisible on the outside.
it had only been 4 weeks of being together, yet it felt like a lifetime. anakin made me feel invincible.
and now i have the option to choose happiness for him, or me.
obi wan left me to think, as i sat outside the tall apartment complex, i decided to take a hike back to the temple.
the walk was tough, but rewarding. the large doors were still open from before, and i squeezed inside.
i took a more in depth look at the temple, until i found a room, filled with mirrors and chandeliers. it was beautiful.

i stepped inside sneakily, the sound of my boots on the mirrored floors echoed through the room.
i reached the centre of the room, and sat down, crossing my legs over in a meditation position.
i sat peacefully, breathing deeply as i imagined my future. it had always been so clear, since the first encounter with anakin to the last; he made my heart flutter. i'm in love with him.
according to obi wan, anakin's pull to the dark side is only inevitable, if i stay in his life.
as my thoughts overwhelmed me, a familiar deep voice sounded from outside.
"what do i do...." he mumbled, pacing the temple.
i crept over to the door, peering out at the familiar man.
anakin.
we weren't supposed to be near each other, but all i needed in that moment was his touch. even if i had sent him away earlier.
"anakin." i whispered, gesturing him over to the door. he flinched, searching the room until he found me.
he stormed over, pulling me in tight. the scent of his cologne: overwhelming yet comforting.
"i'm so sorry sweetheart." he whispered, kissing my forehead as he cupped my cheeks.
"it's okay ani, it's alright." i replied, tears streaming down my face as i rested my head on his chest.
"i missed you."
"i missed you too love."
"come inside, we need to be out of sight."
i pulled him into the glass room, closing the door behind him. he slipped inside, looking back at me and smiling gently.
