I woke up with my arms curled around a pillow and my face stuffed into it as well. I sat up abruptly when I realized that the pillow was moving and it in fact wasn't a pillow at all...it was Karl.

My face flushed as red as a tomato and Karl frowned at my sudden movement. I noticed he had been stroking my hair, and a small messy braid was trailing down my face that wasn't there when I fell asleep.

"Did I.." my sentence got cut off by a yawn as I stretched and backed away from Karl on the couch a little. He let out a soft giggle.

"Yeah you fell asleep. But it's all good, you were just so comfy and I didn't want to wake you up..." Karl trailed off.

"Wow thanks for staying the night. What time is it?" I didn't wait for him to answer and reached for my phone on the night stand. My eyes widened when I looked at the time, almost 10:00 am. Karl really had been considerate to stay all this time.

I threw together a quick breakfast of cereal and orange juice. Showering was something I should probably do, but Karl was still here and I didn't want him to wait for me longer.

I slumped into a chair at the counter next to Karl who was shoveling lucky charms into him mouth.

"So what do you have planned for today?" I asked, curious of his schedule. "You haven't streamed it a while."

"Yeah yeah, I'm gonna stream tonight but I honestly don't know what to do. Tales has been taking a while for the newest build and no ones free for Kinoko kingdom stuff. Also I feel like I'm so awkward doing just talking streams. Donos get annoying and I just have no clue what to say."

I thought about an idea for what Karl could stream. I was free today but I wasn't going to invite myself on. "You should get like a special guest. Maybe like Chandler or Chris they never really go on streams do they?" I suggested.

"Or you could stream with me..." he muttered quietly and gave me what looked like puppy eyes. God his eyes are so pretty. And his hair looked extra fluffy and messy from sleeping on the couch all night.

I grinned wide and nodded my head. "Sure I'll come over tonight. Ooooh can you do my nails? I've been meaning to get them done!" An idea sparked in my mind. "Wait...can I do your makeup?"

He considered this for a moment before agreeing. "I mean yeah I guess. We could do like a makeover night! Chat would probably love that!"

We figured out what time he would start streaming, in about 5 hours which gave me some time to get ready. Karl left and I immediately went to fix myself up for the stream.

A hot shower felt nice on my body and I did my hair and threw on a comfy yet stylish outfit, adjusting my lego heart necklace around my neck. I rummaged through all my drawers, trying to find ideal makeup for Karl's skin tone and the perfect color for eyeshadow. I soon realized that I had minimal makeup and none of it would fit Karl, luckily I still had a few hours to run to the store and get some stuff for the makeover.

I hopped into my car with the AC running and the little plastic disco ball hanging from my mirror. I hummed along to the soft music streaming out of the speakers, being drowned out by the sound of my car pulling out. The nearest actual makeup store was about 45 minutes away and I was way to lazy to drive all the way there. A CVS was a better option because I could get cheap stuff to only use once on Karl and maybe pick up some other fun things to enhance the experience.

I got a short text from Karl on my way there, just saying that he missed me already which made my heart do a summersault. The store was rapidly approaching as I got lost in my thoughts once more.
