Red Strings (Shinso Hitoshi X Reader)

"You can see people's red strings?"

"That's so cool! Can you tell me who my soulmate is?"

Those were all the words that people would ask of the girl. The girl who's quirk can see the red strings to anyone's soulmate... Including her own...

'Do you ever feel alone? Lost in your own world?' Was the the thought that ran through the tired girl's mind as she sat in class, looking out the window as a lesson was going on. But she didn't care, she loved wandering off in her own world. Where no one can bother her. It was just her in her mind state wandering around in her own world. At least until she felt a pair of eyes staring at her. She would slowly turn her head around and to only meet with pretty lavender eyes. She recognized those eyes. they belonged to a boy who's named Shinso Hitoshi. She never really talked to him much, only maybe like a few short hellos and goodbyes and maybe asking to borrow a pencil or an eraser. But that was it.

"(Y/N)!" The teacher would yell for the girl's attention "Fifty two!" (Y/N) would suddenly blurted out. Snapping herself back to reality. "(Y/N)...This is english class!" Present mic would sigh before the rest of the class started to snicker and giggle. Only making the girl more embarrassed. "Well fuck!-" She would suddenly say. Before she got yelled at again by the teacher "Language (Y/N)!"

"Fuck! Sorry!... " The girl would suddenly say before then again... She got yelled at once more "(Y/N)!"... (Y/N) would sigh as she would look over at present mic "At least it's part of the English language!"

"Your not wrong. But we can't be showing off that language in class. Its inappropriate. You can do so somewhere else. Now off with grammar-" Present Mic would be cut off by the bell. The rest of the class would cheer for class being over, and the fact that (Y/N) basically just distracted Mic's lesson. (Y/N) Would grin before she packed up her things from her desk and headed out of her class "Well see you tomorrow" She would say before walking down the halls, making her way towards lunch. As she placed her headphones in and started to listen to her music while walking down the empty halls. Since she as the last one to leave the classroom.

Her mind started to wander off once more as she would think about the lavender boy. 'I wonder if he gets lost in his own world too... I wonder what he was looking at?' The girl would think to herself. She was honestly wasn't sure if he was looking out at the window or at her. She thought the window would be the correct choice. Once she made her way towards the cafeteria she was automatically pulled towards a table. "Yuki what the hell are you doing?" (Y/N) would yell as she was suddenly hushed by the silver haired girl. "Shhh. Quiet. He'll see me!" Yuki would shove a hand over (Y/N)'s mouth. (Y/N) would look over towards the direction where her friend Yuki was staring at... Soon enough they were staring at a boy with red and white hair. 'Todoroki from class 1-A?' (Y/N) would think to herself as she looked over towards Yuki in confusion

"(Y/N) Can you please use your quirk? I really want to know if he's my soulmate. Please just this once. I know how much you don't like to use your quirk. But just this once. I really think that he's the one" Yuki would beg the tired female. (Y/N) groaned "Yuki... You said that last time when you thought Kaminari was your soulmate... I don't think Todoroki is your true love Yuki" (Y/N) would sigh before she closed her eyes "Alright fine... But you owe me a shit ton of pockys later...". (Y/N) would automatically feel the white haired girl tackle her into a hug "Yay! Your the best (Y/N). Honestly you would totally become the best matchmaker ever!" Yuki would smile. "Yeah, yeah whatever. I think thats just a lot of bull fuckery really. Now shut up so I can concentrate" (Y/N) would close her eyes and focus her eyesight to see the red strings that would connect to their soulmates. Once she opened her eyes she would see red strings connecting to person to person. Even a few students who walked passed their soulmates without even noticing. She would look over towards Todoroki's red string and saw if it would connect to Yuki's...
