Shinso's face only became more flustered the more he thought about it. 'Is that how I really feel about (Y/N)? I do feel much more happy around her, she was the only one that actually bothered to hang around me. She actually cares about me, and I'm really grateful and happy about that. (Y/N) makes me happy' The lavender boy thought to himself only to become even more flustered than he already was.

'Do I love (Y/N)?'

-Time skip-

It's already been a few weeks since (Y/N) started to train out her the new part of her quirk, mastering the art of the scissors. Although she still couldn't understand why giant scissors popped into her life now. Why hasn't it pop up before... It just didn't make any sense. The only other person she knew in her family that had the same quirk, was her grandmother. But sadly her grandmother passed away years ago. "(Y/N) my dear, as you grow older and become of age. You're quirk will become more than what you can see" were the words that her grandmother spoke to (Y/N) when she was little... So the only thoughts that just popped into (Y/N)'s mind.

'So my quirk just went through puberty'

"(Y/N) you okay honey? You've been staring off in space, when your supposed to be wiping down the table" Her mother sighed as she would poke her daughter's head. "Yeah, I'm fine... I just realized something.... My quirk went through puberty." (Y/N) would mumble.

Her mother would roll her eyes and chuckle "Aren't you also going through puberty. Well of course your quirk is going through puberty, your going through the changes yourself" Her mom spoke as she would help clean the tables around the café.

(Y/N) blinked and mentally face palmed, realizing that she was going through the changes. She is a teenager after all. "Oh right... Yeah, right Im going through changes, and hormones. Mom puberty sucks..." (Y/N) groaned as she smacked her head on the table.

"Oh hush. Your fine, your just being dramatic now" Her mother chuckled, quite amused with her daughter. "And with going through the changes, you get new feelings... So? Is there anyone you like? Does my little girl have a crush on someone? Say? You have been spending a lot of time with Hitoshi... Do you like him?" The mother gave her a teasing smug expression

(Y/N)'s face turned flush in pink 'Like anyone? I don't know... I have the sight of seeing red strings, I don't really need to like anyone. Well I do, I guess... Maybe I do, but I'm afraid to like someone. Because what if they're not my soulmate' She would think to herself with a small sigh escaping her lips.

"Mom... I don't know, in my case... I'm afraid to fall in love on my own, with out using my quirk. I mean... If I use red string sight. I'll feel like playing god... But I'm not" (Y/N) mumbled a bit as she sat down and rested her head against the palm of her hand, staring out at the window.

Her mother would lightly chuckle "Honey... It's okay to feel like this. I wouldn't blame you. You do have an interesting quirk that makes it difficult for you to fall in love" Her mother gently smiled as she would pat her daughter's head. "I remember what my mother told me, before I met your father... Always follow your heart. It'll lead you where you need to go. Your heart will take you home"

Finally it was the week of the sports festival. Everyone in the city would start heading to UA wanting to witness this year's sports festival. (Y/N) was in one of the rooms where the classes were assigned to stay until the festival actually begins. (Y/N) would be in the corner, feeling quite nervous about the whole event. 'What if I fail? What if people look at me weird? Oh my god, the whole world is gonna be watching...' Were the thoughts that ran in her head. Yuki ran up to the girl and giggled "Oh my gosh! I can't believe today is here! Isn't this exciting?" The silver haired girl giggled as she would shake (Y/N) aggressively. (Y/N) would shake her head a bit as she stayed in the corner of the room "I don't know... I honestly, kinda just want to go home and cuddle up with my cats" She quietly mumbled.
