I looked up into his green eyes and I realised that we were stood really close together as we held eye contact.

Suddenly my eyes were drawn away from his as I heard another voice from the door.

"Skylar, Ryan sent me to-"

I looked to my left to see Lucas walking through the door as he cut himself off mid-sentence when he saw Nick and I.

I took a step back to distance myself from Nick as I opened my mouth to speak.

"Lucas, I- this is Nick. He was just helping me with the vending machine." I explained.

"Oh eh... hey, I'm Lucas." He nodded to Nick.

"Nick." he smiled. "Well, I should get back to training. I'll catch you guys later."

With that, Nick left the room as Lucas approached me.

"He seemed...nice." he said.

"Yeah, he is." I replied.

"Well, Ryan just sent me to make sure you got the normal skittles instead of the sour skittles, because he hates how they feel on his tongue or something." He laughed, rolling his eyes.

"Of course." I smiled, putting the skittles in his hand.

"He's stupid but thank you."

"Let's just get back to the others." I said, grabbing his hand to drag him back up to my Dad's office.

What an eventful day that was...

~

The next few days were spent at the villa by the pool and it was great to be able to spend some time on vacation with all of my friends. We'd been to a few nice restaurants and explored the designer stores, it was fun.

Dad said that we were going to continue training at home and I was actually becoming more excited about the situation as I got used to it. It wasn't as bad as I initially thought.

However, I was actually quite glad to be going home and getting back to some sort of normality. Although I knew it'd be strangely quiet once we got home and no one else was around anymore.

"Are you ready to go?" Lucas asked from my bedroom doorway.

He was stood with his suitcase by my door as I zipped up my bag and followed him out of the door.

"Yep, I think I've got everything." I smiled.

"The flight's in about an hour and a half, so we have quite a bit of time to get there." he said, looking at his watch.

"What? I thought the flight was at 4!" I said, looking at the time which was currently 1PM.

"No, Mom said they changed it, but apparently we have plenty of time."

"How do we have plenty of time? You're meant to get to the airport at least 2 hours before your flight. We're going to miss it!" I exclaimed.

"Sky, stop freaking out. I'm sure it'll be fine." he chuckled.

"Yeah Sky, we've got a surprise for you!" Mom said, hurrying down the corridor towards us.

"What kind of surprise?" I asked.

"You'll see!" she said, rushing down the stairs with her bag.

Lucas and I exchanged looks as he gave me a shrug and I rolled my eyes at my mother's mysterious nature. He then took my bag to help me as we headed down the stairs to join everyone.

~

"Come on, we need to hurry up and get through security! We're definitely going to miss this flight." I nagged.

"Sky, calm down, I told you we have a surprise for you all." Mom laughed as I grabbed my hand luggage from the tray once it'd come out of the scanner.

"When do we get to find out what it is?" Hailey asked, intrigued.

"Soon." Dad chuckled.

I walked away from them with a sigh as everyone rushed around the airport stores buying anything they could find for the long trip home.

Leanne and Hailey had dragged me through multiple shops just to buy snacks for the flight but I was just ready to board and get home. I always found the airport to be the worst part of a trip. Once vacation was over I just wanted to be at home in my own bed. Travelling can be seriously tiring.

Despite the amazing, yet eventful, week we'd had. I was ready to get back to normality.

"Are you ready?" Mom asked, practically jumping with excitement.

I had no idea what she could be so excited about at an airport but I just went along with it.

"Yeah! What's the surprise?" Ryan asked.

"Ta da!" she said, holding her hands out towards Gate 32's large window.

"The plane?" Leanne questioned.

"Yes, the plane!" she replied.

"Jules gets a little overexcited." Dad joked, receiving an elbow to the gut.

"It's the private jet!" she explained.

"Private jet?" I exclaimed.

"What?" Carter added.

I looked around at my friends to see their mouths practically hanging open along with mine as we were all shocked by my parents revelation.

"You own a private jet?!" Hailey yelled.

"Yes! Now you know about our...business, we don't need to hide much else from you. Including things like this." Mom smiled.

"Oh my god." Jamie said.

"You can say that again, this is awesome!" Ryan said, smiling like a child on Christmas morning.

"Mr and Mrs Eastwood, your plane is now ready to board." said one of the flight attendants nearby as she approached us with a smile.

"Lets go!" Ryan and Carter said jointly as they ran down the runway towards the plane, leaving us all behind as we laughed at their stupidity.

We followed closely behind them until we eventually ended up on the plane and it was breath taking.
