"Well Schlatt, does it really even matter anymore?" Dream started, composing himself. "it doesn't matter if you're lying or not, it was about time I got rid of you anyways." All reasoning had left Dream's mind, he was only focused on ridding himself of his rival, one step closer to winning the demon throne. Schlatt furrowed his brow slightly, how could he convince Dream otherwise?
"You don't mean that Dream, you're making a bad decision right now." Schlatt warned taking a step forward. He knew what would come from this fight, what they would lose, what he would sacrifice.
"No Schlatt, I definitely mean that!" his voice was sharp and stern, demanding almost. Schlatt knew what was going to happen and he could do nothing but accept it.
"Very well Dream, have it your way." His opponent smirked, his foot slid behind his left leg, body italicized. He was preparing and so was Schlatt. Unlike his eager rival, Schlatt kept his poker face unwavering, sturdy. As the two took their stances, they could feel the air thicken, tension settling in between the cracks. Why, was another question, but they could chalk it up to the fight.
Schlatt held the artificial gaze of Dream's mask, a breeze of the wind ruffled through his hair, sun glaring on their figures, a shift in the atmosphere, hyper awareness coursing through his veins. They were ready.
Dream lurched forward, making the first move. Schlatt side-stepped him, Dream's fingers barely grazing his side. The ram countered with his own offense, only for Dream to dodge. Their fight was a game, chess vs poker, but it was also a concept somewhat foreign to both parties. A dance. Each attack was equally matched, twists, turns, movement. They performed flawlessly, just as Schlatt as known they would.
At every opening, Schlatt would take an opportunity to bang on the door that leads to his rival's mind. He pounded relentlessly against the sturdy wood. Peering through the peephole at a victorious Dream. He was putting up a fight physically and mentally. Then Schlatt feels himself get pulled back to reality, autopilot shutting off. He hears footsteps in the distance, the front of the castle.
"It seems we have company." Dream smirked and took off in the opposite direction. He was a fast demon, unlike Schlatt's gift of cunningness and the all-knowing, Dream was awarded speed and more physical brute.

"So I might've called for a bit of backup." Techno gestured to behind him, ten people equipped for battle. Phil's eyes scanned the ten intrusively. His Ni (Introverted Intuition) assessing the newcomers. Each stood slightly different, leaning on a tree, shifting their weight from one foot to another. He immediately spotted some familiar faces in the line, Niki, Ranboo, Tubbo, Eret, and the guard from before who he knew as Fundy.
"I called for a bit of help, thought you might be needing some." Eret stepped forward gesturing to the four strangers. "This is Sam, king of Prentep, Minx queen of Selfare and demon hybrid, Puffy captain of the Hyacinth, Badboyhalo, and Hbomb some very close friends of mine," Eret finished. Sam stepped forward first extending his hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you, though I wish it could be under better circumstances." Phil accepted his hand laughing at the greeting.
"Don't I know it, though I don't think we should stall any longer, I'd like to avoid a mass genocide today if we can." Sam smiled in agreement.
"Well now, I truly do hate to interrupt whatever this is, but I can't help but assume you're here for my head." The group looked up as the tree above them shook, the impact of Dream jumping into it from one of the castle windows. Tommy glared at the green cloaked idiot.
"You're a massive narcissist you prick, not everything is about you!" he yelled, voice echoing through the air in fury. Dream laughed as he swung his legs from the branch.
"That's true, that's true." Dream repeated slowly, tilting his head, "But you're also supposed to be dead." His voice dropped from its earlier octave. His words enunciating, being carried through the airwaves and stabbing their ears. Wilbur took a step in front of his brother, eyes never leaving the green demon. As he was going to open his mouth another voice came from the back of the group startling some.
"Dream, why'd you leave me back there, old buddy old pal?" Schlatt appeared from behind the crowd pushing through until he was at the front. Dream's smirk widened at the sight of his rival.
"Finally upping the game now? Well, it wouldn't be courteous of me to not play along to now would it?" Schlatt had teleported here and Dream was nothing if not a fair player. With a wave of his hand, he sent part of the castle wall down. The stone slid from the pillars acquiring a target, Tubbo.
just set up Tubbo's death, feeling good.
