Always (Sequal to Rescue Me)

As the sun crept through the curtains and shined on the bed Josh's eyes went open.
Seeing as it was 06:30 he looked over seeing Maya fast asleep.
Smiling he got out of bed and went to put the kettle on while he saw his phone bleeping.
His niece which of course wanted to know what was on the agenda for today.
Of course she has been up since early this morning but Josh could tell after yesterday's announcement Maya is going to want to take things easy.
Making some tea Josh went back into the bedroom placing the cup on th nightstand next to Maya as she woke up.

"Morning, Sunshine. I made you some tea," Josh said as Maya smiled.
"Thank you," Maya said as she gently took the cup sipping on the sweet tea.
"Riley wants to know what our plans are. It's clear that she's been up for hours. Probably her siblings which woke her up," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"I don't actually want to do a lot today," Maya said as Josh nodded understanding why she said it.
"How long have you known about the pregnancy?" Josh asked as Maya smiled.

"Not too long. A few hours before I told you. This changes a lot, Josh. We're young and maybe I don't want to go to college. I just don't know how to tell Riley that," Maya said.
"We'll be fine. You'll be fine. If you want to go to college, it's fine. We'll find a babysitter or I can take care of the little nugget. And if you want to stay at home and be a mom I'll also be fine with it. Let's just enjoy this vacation," Josh said as Maya nodded.
