"Aw, we lost!" You whined.

One of your teammates scoffed at your childish attitude towards your loss.

"Yeah, because you keep falling over yourself," He snapped.

"Don't get mad at me because I'm clumsy."

He just shrugged before walking away with the rest of the team. You puffed out your cheeks before following them out into the Deca Tower. Despite not being the most intentive, you were still skilled in turf wars. Just because you trip over yourself doesn't mean you aren't a good player. At least, that's what you think anyway.

Upon exiting the Deca Tower, there's a lot of commotion going on in the middle of the Square. Your curious little brain couldn't handle not knowing what it was all about so you rushed over to the crowd. Sneakily, you made your way into the front of the crowd looked onward. That's where you saw them, the legendary team of the S+ rankers.

"Oh my gosh, it's the S4!" Your eyes sparkled, "I didn't know they were around!"

Like many inklings, you idolized the S4. They were like role models to you in some way. You just had to get an autograph from one of them. You took out a notebook from your hoodie's pocket and ran up to one of them. However, out of nowhere, your foot got caught on a rock and you fell face-first into the ground.

"Ooh!" Someone winced.

"That's gotta hurt..." Another cringed.

"Haha! That was hilarious!" Someone laughed.

With a pounding head, you groaned in pain, "Oww..."

Where the heck did that rock come from? You wondered. You were about to get up but someone's shadow cast over your body. You looked up to see a very intimidating boy with no eyebrows! He was looked down at you with curiosity as well as pity, probably because of your fall.

"You okay?" He asked, "You took quite a fall."

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine," You reassured.

He lends you a hand and you take it without hesitation. Oh gosh, this is embarrassing! I can't believe I fell in front of one of the S4! A dark (f/c) blush spread across your cheek. Clumsiness is a horrible thing sometimes.

"Hey, Skull's got a fan~" Aloha teased.

"This is no time to dilly dally, we have a match to attend remember?" Army said in his usual rough tone.

The other three members started to walk away but Skull, for some reason, remained in front of you. Nervously, you took out your notebook and gave it to Skull. He looked confused but took the notebook anyway.

"C-Can I have your autograph?" You asked, stuttering a bit.

"Uh, sure," Skull shrugged.

Out of seemingly nowhere, Skull pulled out a black marker and wrote his initials inside the notebook. When he gave it back to you, you couldn't help but keep it close to your person. It felt good to have one of the S4 sign your notebook.

"Thank you so much!" You thanked him.

"No problem," Skull said.

Skull started walking away but simply getting an autograph didn't feel all too satisfying. You wanted to at least talk to him outside of turf wars too. So you latched your hand onto his pale wrist, which made him stop immediately. He turned to you with a very irritated look on his face.

"W-Wait! Can we talk after your match? I want to get to know you more."

Skull took a minute to respond before yanking his wrist away from your grip. He breathed out a long sigh.

"Sure, I guess we can talk after the match..."

"Thank you so much!"

You gave the emotionless squid a quick hug before wishing him luck on his match and running off to the cafe. Some inklings whispered about your interaction with him but you didn't mind. They can talk all they want about you but it won't change that you got to talk to Skull. Operation: Befriending the S4 is a go, you snickered internally.

Time Skip: After Match

After the match, the S4 quickly split ways due to having to deal with their teams. You marched up to purple inkling boy with a wide smile on your face. However, before you could fully greet him again you suddenly tripped. Again. Your face, yet again, stung with an incredible burning feeling. Tears welled up in your eyes as you scrunched up your face. Skull sighed and walked over to you. He gives you a condescending look like he was your parent or something.

"You sure are clumsy, you know that?" Skull patronized.

You pouted and stood onto your feet. You crossed your arms in a huff.

"Anyway, why do you want to get to know me?"

"I dunno, because you're interesting out of the S4." You shrugged.

Skull was appalled by your answer but his expression quickly dashed back to his neutral one.

"Well, if that's the real reason then..."

You grabbed both of Skull's hands as a smile edged its way into your face yet again. If this were an anime or fanfic, your face would be surrounded by sparkles and a bright aura or something along those lines. A faint purple blush covered his pale cheeks when he saw the signs of innocence in your eyes.

"Come on, Skull!" You ushered, "Let's go get some ice cream!"

"U-Uh, sure, why not?" Skull looked away.

You let one of your hands drop to your side as you lead Skull down to the ice cream parlor. But because your clumsy nature always kicks in at the wrong time, you ended up tripping again. But someone came down with you.

"Waah!"

The two of you fell onto the ground with a loud thud. When you opened your eyes, you saw Skull laying on top of you. A deep (f/c) blush spread across your whole body, making you heat up ten times faster than before. Oh my gosh, Skull's on top of me! Is this a dream?! Your mind scattered in all directions as you tried to process what just happened. Skull had a light purple blush spread across his face as well. His eyes were as wide as Saturn's rings.

"U-Um, h-hey!" You started sweating, "H-How's is g-going?"

Skull immediately stood up and lend you a hand, but he refused to look you in the eye. Not that you blame him though. You hesitantly took his hand and he helped you up.

"That was a thing..."

"Yeah..." Skull mumbled.

"Still want to get some ice cream?"

Skull thought about it for a moment before shaking his head.

"I see, well, wanna hang out tomorrow?"

"I'll think about it..."

And as quickly as he answered, Skull bolted out of the Square. You couldn't help but feel a little rejected but then again, he did fall on top of you. Suddenly, you felt multiple eyes looking at you and you looked around. Everyone in the Square was staring at you, some with wide eyes and others with cell phones in their hands.

"You creeps!" You shouted.

You bolted into the ice cream parlor to get away from the crowd.
