'Hi' Skye kissed Cheryl's cheek as she found her in the study. 'Wow this is amazing, how come you never told me you were artist?' Skye said looking at the painting Cheryl was currently preoccupied with. 'I haven't done it since I was a teenager' Cheryl answered on auto pilot, guilt and confusion running through her mind. 'Well you should, you are really talented' Skye smiled 'where did you go for some fresh air?'. 'Oh just to Pop's for a coffee and then back here' Cheryl said. 'Well do you feel better? You was kind of out of it last night. Toni and her friends help me get you home'. Cheryl cringed inwardly at Toni's name coming from her girlfriends lips especially after what had happened a couple of hours ago. 'Oh, I'll have to thank them' the redhead mumbled. 'Don't worry I already did' Skye nodded. 'Do you want to go out for dinner tonight?' Skye asked as she sat on the couch by the window and Cheryl was glad that the brunette didn't pick up on anything being wrong. 'Actually, I just want to stay here today I don't feel great, you know with the hangover' Cheryl lied. 'Oh, well do you mind if I do, I know this is your families home but it's pretty creepy. I'll bring you dinner back' she smiled. 'That's fine, I don't want you to feel trapped remembering that's the way Toni said she felt years ago when she lived here. 'Don't worry about bringing me anything back I'll just have something here' Cheryl said. 'Okay then babe, I'll leave you to it' Skye said pulling Cheryl in for a kiss and walked away. Cheryl hated how different it felt to kiss Skye than it did Toni and as much as she was glad Skye didn't notice anything was wrong she knew that if it was Toni she'd notice straight away.

Cheryl was sat on the couch in the main room as Skye had just left, she told her she was going to have some dinner and then explore the town for a while. After Cheryl had done painting she spent a few hours with her nana while Skye caught up with some work on her laptop, sending the caregivers home early for the day. The redhead had been scrolling mindlessly through her phone for about half an hour when a knock on the door pulled her from her thoughts. She got up wondering who would call around at this time without letting her know. She slowly opened the door revealing Toni stood sheepishly at the door. 'We need to talk, I know Skye's out' Toni said looking at the redhead. Cheryl sighed but moved aside to let her in. 'This doesn't feel right Toni, I feel like I'm sneaking around behind Skye's back' Cheryl said following Toni to the couch. 'I know, that's why I'm here, we need to talk about what happened between us' Toni said as she sat down, Cheryl sitting as far away as she could, not trusting herself. 'I got lost in the moment Toni, old memories, I shouldn't have done it. I'm really sorry' Cheryl apologised. 'Do you regret it?' Toni asked but Cheryl didn't answer. 'It's only me Cher, you can be honest, I'm a big girl, I can take it' Toni pushed. 'I could never regret anything that concerns you, apart from our breakup' Cheryl said truthfully. 'And Skye, do you love her?' Toni asked, she wanted all cards on the table. 'That's not fair Toni' Cheryl shook her head. 'Okay fine' Toni said 'you said no one knows you like I do, we've not seen each other in ten years and you've been with Skye for five of them, how can that be true?'. 'Skye knows about my life now, I haven't told her anything about my past, she doesn't know about anything I went through. All she knows is I grew up here and left at eighteen'. 'Why didn't you tell her?' Toni asked causing Cheryl to huff 'because Antoinette, I bared my soul to you once and look how that turned out, I wasn't putting myself through that again'. Toni ignored Cheryl's harsh tone knowing she was just being defensive.

'Is that all?' Cheryl asked after a couple of minutes of silence. 'Look Cheryl I'm not a homewrecker, you're in a relationship and I respect that. I just want to know you're happy because you really don't seem it. That's all I've ever wanted, for you to be happy. That's why I did what I did all those years ago, so you could be happy, even if it was without me'. 'I'm fine Toni' Cheryl sighed. 'That doesn't really answer my question' Toni raised a eyebrow. 'Look Skye, she's nice to me. She doesn't deserve what I did to her earlier today' Cheryl frowned. 'Cher, I would never say anything about the kiss, I know things are weird right now'. Cheryl nodded, relieved that Toni confirmed she wouldn't hold what happened over her relationship with Skye. 'I should go' Toni said reaching and taking Cheryl's hand in her own, the redhead closing her eyes to stop the tears at the touch of the only person she'd ever truly craved 'I only want to be here for you Cheryl not make things harder, I know it's difficult for you with your nana but you're not alone okay?'. Cheryl nodded as she looked at Toni with soft eyes.

'What's going on?' Skye asked eyeing the pair on the couch her girlfriend obviously upset. Luckily Cheryl had snatched her hand away at the sound of the door opening. 'Toni just came to see how nana is' the redhead lied. 'Then why are you crying?' Skye asked as she knelt down looking at Toni before turning her attention to Cheryl. 'I'm just upset with what's going on' the redhead looked quickly over to Toni before Skye pulled her into a hug. 'I should go' Toni said standing awkwardly 'let me know if you or your nana need anything Cher. I'll see you guys around'. With a nod and a quiet thank you from the redhead she left. 'Cher? I thought you only liked to be addressed as Cheryl?' Skye said 'the first time I called you that you almost... oh you didn't want me to call you that because she did. Do you still have a thing for her?'. 'How dare you!' Cheryl stood furious. 'What I can't ask you a question?' Skye stood up from her kneeling position. 'You weren't asking a question. You was insinuating something and I can have friends you know, I know you don't like it but it's tough' Cheryl attempted to walk away before Skye roughly grabbed her arm. It wasn't the first time that she had handled the redhead that way but it's all she'd known anyway, the only person that hadn't put hands on her was Toni. 'You won't see her again, unless I'm there' Skye spat not being able to control the jealousy running through her body. 'I'm a grown woman Skye, I'll do as I please' Cheryl contested as she tried to pull her arm away, Skye's grip only getting tighter.

As Toni got outside she remembered she'd left the keys to her motorcycle on the table next to the couch. 'Shit' she whispered before turning back towards the house. 'Skye get your hands off of me!' Cheryl yelled as she tried again to pull her arm away. 'Hey take your your hands off her' Toni said as she saw the commotion. 'This is nothing to do with you' Skye said viciously. 'I said take your hands off her' Toni said stepping forward. 'Toni, don't' Cheryl said quietly. 'She's with me, this is between us so leave' Skye smirked. Cheryl managed to pull her arm free as she stepped in between the women currently in a stare off. It was only when Toni saw Cheryl come into her view that she took her eyes from the tall brunette and moved them to the redhead. 'Are you okay?' Toni asked wanting nothing more than to take the redhead in her arms. 'She's fine, we were just in the middle of a disagreement' Skye answered for her. 'I wasn't asking you' Toni spat at Cheryl's girlfriend. 'I'm fine Toni honestly, we were just having a disagreement like Skye said' the redhead said looking in her eyes knowing full well Toni knew when she was lying. 'Cheryl, she put her hands on you' Toni said seriously, not caring that the brunette was stood there. 'I wouldn't take it that far' Skye laughed and that made Toni's blood boil causing Toni to turn quickly her face inches away from the brunettes. Cheryl knew this was going to turn ugly and she had to do something quickly. 'Toni honestly we were just arguing and in the heat of the moment she grabbed my arm to stop me walking away, that's all, I overreacted' Cheryl said moving to stand by Skye's side. Toni wasn't stupid, she could see the redness and bruising already showing on the redheads pale arm. 'See, she's fine' Skye nodded. 'Cheryl...' Toni started but Cheryl shook her head silently begging her to leave it. Toni huffed 'I'm here for you if you need me'. She didn't know what else she could do so as much as she hated herself for it she grabbed her keys and left the mansion.

Toni needed a drink so she jumped on her bike and sped as fast as she could to the White Wyrm. She stopped her bike not even bothering to park it properly and stormed passed all the Serpents stood outside having a smoke including Sweet Pea and Fangs who shared a confused look. Toni headed straight to the bar, not even bothering to wait to be served, she helped herself to a beer leaving the money on the counter before heading to a empty table in the corner. Betty and Jughead shouted Sweet Pea and Fangs over to ask them about Toni's strange behaviour. They told them they had no clue and decided a group approach would be best to take on the obviously angry serpent queen. Sweet Pea somehow ended up at the front of the group as he turned to shoot glares at his friends before stopping in front of Toni trying to figure out what to say.
