~ 3:00 PM; End of school day ~

"C'mon Jeff, let's go," you intrigued, as you latched your hand around his wrist, pulling your best friend off school campus. A look of glee appearing on your features knowing school was over, but now you had dreaded homework to go finish, but at least you could do it with your best friend and not alone. You both finally stepped onto the concrete sidewalk, your red orbs coming into contact with the intense sunlight of the sun, as you blinked a few times getting adjusted to the light that captured both you and Jeff's beings. He walked next to you, both your soles echoing off the ground as you both walked home, or really to your house.

Silence lingered between the both of you, but you broke it by saying, "Where's Liu, isn't he supposed to be walking with us?" Truth be asked, where was he anyways?

Jeff sighed deeply, "I saw him at break. He said he was staying after school and walking home by himself."

Your nose and forehead wrinkled in confusion on why Liu was doing such things. "Hm, I wonder why?"

"Heh, I honestly don't know. He's probably gonna do his homework there, so he won't have to do it at home." Jeff implied, seeming to laugh at why his brother was so serious about school, when he for one found it annoying, or mostly, the last place he'd rather be, or even die at.

You scoffed intently, "Huh, probably. I'm taking it as if he doesn't like to procrastinate." If there was one thing you knew, you loved to procrastinate, and Jeff on the other hand, seemed to love doing the same. But when do all not procrastinate, it's almost like a way of life - or maybe it is.

"Haha, you tellin' me? Please? Liu is always worrying about his education, and not about 'fun' things." Jeff giggled, and it was true, but he seemed used to his brother being the way he supposedly was.

"Mhm, I guess he's always been that way." You added sternly, your gaze staring at the road in front of you, and you were rather relieved that you weren't that far from your house and the fact that it was close by. Your 'problem' was out of the way since of what happened this morning. A rush of guilt suddenly overcame your small being as you continued to walk in silence with Jeff. This morning looked like something out of a horror scene. You saw everything that happened. Who did what and what exactly occurred. The guilt seemed to constrict in the pit of your stomach, seeing the three bodies on the ground, aching and almost being on the verge of death. Yes, you hated them with a burning passion, but you had always been a good girl and not a bad one, but now, you weren't sure what you were. What about if your mother found out, or even worse, Jeff's parents. It would have been horrible if they knew, surely he'd be grounded for the rest of his life, or even suffer a worse punishment.
Either way, it wouldn't end well if they found out. At the same time, you felt horrible keeping it a secret, almost as if it was a dreaded burden. Guilt was overcoming you the more you thought about it, but on the other hand, Jeff seemed to act practically normal. It was like as if it didn't bother him at all. Of course, he couldn't just forget just what happened this morning, and you weren't even sure if it was a good idea to bring up the subject to even bother to discuss it. Would he get angry and simply just want to forget about it and act like it never happened. But it did, and you couldn't change that, or could you?

No. There was no way anyone could. The damage was done, and you weren't even sure if anyone would pay the price, or would you actually walk and get away with it? Either option given, you weren't sure, not even a little bit? You decided to push those thoughts aside seeing that they were getting you no where and only making you feel bad, along with the fact that you both were approaching your front porch, plus, if your mother was home, you didn't want her to act suspicious about anything - the last thing you wanted was for her to find out what happened earlier today.
