Becoming something new means letting go of the old.
As I continued to sleep aboard the ship, it wasn't long before I awoke to a knocking on the door of the Jedi quarters. Opening my eyes, I now saw as the door slid up to reveal Obi-Wan. "Glad to see you two are already awake. We've arrived on Coruscant. The Council awaits us, so let's not keep them waiting" he informed us.
"Yes, Master Kenobi" Ahsoka answered him as she rolled onto her side. I just sat up and nodded my head. The door then shut. "You're quiet, Sunshine" Ahsoka went on to comment, sitting up now as well.
"I swear to Maker if you guys keep calling me that I'll never talk again" I replied.
"Guess I'll just have to get used to you being mute then, Sunshine" Ahsoka teased me. She then got up and walked out.
"Why did I ever make friends with kriffing Jedi?" I groaned as I fell back into the bed. However, I didn't stay down. I sat back up before finally standing, and going after Ahsoka. Next thing I knew, we were with Anakin and Obi-Wan on a gunship again. As we soon arrived at the Jedi Temple, we were escorted back to the Jedi Council Chambers. Instead of taking a seat though, Obi-Wan stood beside us.
"Master Kenobi, General Skywalker, how went the mission?" Master Windu, or rather, Mace Windu began.
"It was strange. I'm not quite sure any of you would believe what we saw" Obi-Wan admitted.
"Find the source of the distress call, did you?" Master Yoda prompted.
"We did... I think. We rendezvoused at the coordinates with Captain Rex. However, when we first arrived, we didn't see him and the cruiser, and they couldn't see us and the shuttle. Instead, we saw this giant diamond shaped structure—" Anakin started to say.
"—Mortis. That was the name of this so called "planet" or structure, and we were sucked into it shortly after laying eyes on it. I believe that is in fact where the distress call originated from" Obi-Wan interrupted.
"Sucked into it? Like a tractor beam?" Master Kit Fisto, the Nautolan man from earlier, questioned.
"Precisely. Though, we saw this bright white light and went unconscious, before waking up on our ship which had conveniently landed on its own" Ahsoka contextualized.
"I think it should also be mentioned that once we were done with our business on the planet, we all went unconscious again, and awoke back on the shuttle like nothing had even happened. Barely a moment had passed in real time. Mortis was gone, and Rex and the Jedi cruiser were suddenly in front of us as they should've been" I added.
"Hmmm. And what exactly was your business on the planet?" Master Shaak Ti, the other female Torgruta from earlier, wondered.
"Well, there were these three supposed gods—" Obi-Wan mentioned.
"—Force Wielders" Anakin corrected him.
"Alright, Force Wielders. There was the Daughter who represented the light side of the Force, the Son who represented the dark, and the Father who seemed to represent the Force as a whole—" Obi-Wan went on to explain.
"—There was no mother?" Master Plo Koon, the male Kel Door from earlier, brought up.
"We're unsure. We never saw or heard anything of her" Anakin shrugged.
"Very well, continue then" Master Koon told us.
"Of course. We think we were brought there because the Father, like us, believes Anakin to be the Chosen One... Apparently, the Father was dying and needed someone who could control his powerful children after his passing, and well, according to him, only the Chosen One could do so. Therefore, he brought Anakin along with the rest of us there so that he could test him" Obi-Wan elaborated.
