A/N

Hey everyone! Sorry I'm a day late!! I forgot to update the story before going out yesterday, but I'm back here now with new content. New chapter means new angst, so buckle yourselves in. Hope you like it! =^_^=

-----------------------------------

Soobin and Beomgyu were grabbing lunch together in between their classes, Soobin's anti-anxiety medication keeping him stable in the crowded and loud environment. Soobin could tell that something was up, Beomgyu being much quieter and laid back than usual. Rather than talking animatedly and excitedly as he usually did, the man had his head down as he slowly ate his food.

"Beomgyu, everything alright?"

When Beomgyu's eyes looked up, all he could see was worry on Soobin's face. He sighed, taking another bite of food before looking up. He sighed again, trying to think of the best way to form his thoughts.

"Would you believe me if I said I was fine?"

"Well ..." Soobin looked down at his food, contemplating an answer before looking back in Beomgyu's direction. "No."

Beomgyu scoffed slightly, the noise coming out more aggressive and angrier than he had intended. It caused Soobin to become more tense than before, not sure if he just worsened Beomgyu's mood.

"It's nothing. I just ..." Beomgyu began playing with his food, his mind focused on everything except eating.

"Just?" Soobin was giving Beomgyu his full attention, ready to comfort him if that's what he wanted.

"I just don't know what I did wrong."

Soobin's expression went from one of comfort to one of confusion, not sure what Beomgyu was talking about. No matter how long he thought about it, no situation came to Soobin's mind. Before he could ask the other what he meant, Beomgyu had started ranting and talking quickly, something he always did when he was frustrated.

"One day, everything seemed okay, and the next day, it was as if he was scared to even look at me. I don't remember doing anything that would have scared or traumatized him, so why did he start avoiding me all of a sudden. I mean, I only knew him because of his friend, but still. I deserve to know what I did wrong, and he won't even look at me yet alone talk to me. I just ... I don't know what to do."

At the end of his speech, he gave another long sigh, still frustrated as he took another bite of his lunch. Soobin had remained quiet through it all, wanting to give Beomgyu the opportunity to let all of his emotions out. But even so, Soobin had more questions than answers, still not sure who this mystery person was or why Beomgyu was so distraught over the man not talking to him.

"Okay, let's break this down." Beomgyu continued eating, nodding in agreement as he waited for Soobin to continue. "There's a guy that you knew through a friend that you hung out with?"

"'Hung out' may be a little exaggerated. I didn't hang out with his friend very often, so we barely knew each other to begin with."

"Okay, makes sense. And you guys were fine, until one day, he seemed scared of you?"

"Exactly! We seemed to be fine, but then one day, he started to avoid me like I have the plague or something!" Beomgyu's voice rose slightly, letting out his frustrations.

"Okay, and you have no idea why this started happening? You guys didn't fight or have an argument?"

"No."
