"What do you mean Ludwig is nowhere to be found?! What the fuck happened to him?!" Varian shouted, slamming his fists on the golden navigational table in anger. "Ever since he and Alyssana had that fight, he all of a sudden disappears out of plain sight?"

"The Ebon Blade is doing everything they can to find him, your Highness." Darion replied, his helmet being on the table so his face would show. "He was last seen near the outskirts of Ulduar, 3 months after the defeat of the Old God, Yogg-Saron. My scouts reported back then that he was sporting a new blade as he was tearing down every single undead that stood in his path."

"So for three months, Ludwig's been killing undead?" the King of Stormwind scoffed. "At least it gives us some breathing room for when we go face the Lich King and his armies."

"Respectfully, your Highness, with Ludwig being a Death Knight, it's normal for him to go on a killing spree to sate his hunger for death and destruction, to save him from the guilt of his past. That's how we all came to be when we came into undeath." Darion remarked, looking down at the map of Northrend where there were red flags marking Ludwig's last whereabouts. "However, with him being reminded of his past by his ex-wife, in a way it's good that they split up instead of staying in a group. We all know what happened in Dalaran between them both."

Varian sighed heavily as he looked at reports from the incident at the Wrathgate. Both the Alliance and the Horde were battling alongside each other until Putress from the Royal Apothecary Society that was formed by Sylvanas released a terrible chemical agent called Blight that devastated both Alliance, Horde and the Lich King's forces. The report also claimed that Ludwig was present in the fight at the Wrathgate, but he was killing both Alliance and Horde soldiers.

"I have a report here from the SI:7 about Ludwig. You're not going to like it, however." Varian stated, handing the report paper to Darion from across the navigation table.

Darion had read the report and groaned while covering his face with his left palm. "Oh Ludwig...how far you've really fallen."

"Is there any chance of getting him to re-join our ranks?" Varian questioned the Death Knight. "I'm aware of his situation with the Lich King, but is there any chance of hopefully bringing him back to our ranks?"

"If we spot him again, we'll restrain him to the best of our ability and question him ourselves. Otherwise, there's a high chance that he may have joined the Lich King and his armies again." Darion admitted with a sigh. "We may have no choice but to bring him down if he doesn't join our cause any time soon."

"Alright, I'll mark where he was last seen." Varian shrugged as he put another red flag on the map where the Wrathgate stood, marking where Ludwig was last seen. "This is not going to make her happy."

"Alyssana?" Darion pondered. "I thought she hated him?"

"Yes, but not enough to not care about him." Varian verified. "Yes they have fought each other quiet a bit within a few days of being near each other, but that doesn't keep Alyssana from praying for his wellbeing."

"At least she acknowledges what she had done to damage Ludwig." Darion shook his head. "But is it enough to bring Ludwig back?"

Wrynn shook his head and sat down on a nearby chair to gather his thoughts. "Wait, the Lich King wanted to kill Alyssana because of how powerful she is, right?"

"Yes, but why is that important all of a sudden?" Darion challenged Varian before he was about to put his helmet back on.

At the back of Solitude Lookout
