   Recently, you've been feeling pretty sick. You've been throwing most of your food up. a lot of food's smells were suddenly disgusting, and you were always crying. Perhaps it was because you missed Taehyung with a burning passion, or maybe there was something generally wrong with you. And so, you decided to go to a mermaid doctor that you knew of to see what was going on.

   It was hard for you to drag yourself off of the couch and into the pool, as the pain of being away from Taehyung was far too great. As more and more months began to pass, you even found it difficult to go to the bathroom! Taehyung and Kai's idiotic bandmembers don't even know how important it is for mates to stay together—especially in the early months. They should've taken you with them.

   Once you were finally in the water, you set off on your way to the home of the mermaid doctor. The journey was quite long—especially with your weakened state—but you knew that you had to do it just in case it was life threatening.

   You arrived at the doctor's cave and knocked on the side of the wall with a stick you found. The door immediately opened, revealing a slightly older mermaid with dark green hair and beautiful chestnut skin. Her tail matched her hair and she had unique hazel eyes.

   "Hello! How may I help you?" asked the mermaid. You gave her a small, hesitant smile.

   "Hi, I just wanted to have a quick checkup. I haven't been feeling good lately," you said.

   "Sure! Come on in." The mermaid doctor left the door open for you to swim through and swam further into the cave, you following behind her after closing the door. She led you into a room in the back where she had all her doctor equipment lined on hooks on the walls. You swam to the checkout table and rested yourself down on it while that doctor zoomed around the room, gathering the necessary equipment.

   "Alright, so what seems to be the problem?" the doctor—Doctor Jonas, she'd introduced herself as—questioned while getting out her stethoscope to listen to your heart.

   "I've been feeling sick and have been throwing up my food a lot. And I've been having weird food cravings and I suddenly don't like many of my favorite foods and of course the bonus headache." Dr. Jonas put her stethoscope down and looked you in the eyes.

   "Do you have a mate?"

   You frowned. "Yes, but he's not with me right now. I don't know when he'll be back."

   "Have you had any sexual relations with him in the past couple months?" You blushed red as you shyly nodded.

   "Yes, we—uh, recently completed the mating process." The mermaid gave you a look of pity.

   "Alright, sweetie. I'm going to need you to go to your local dollar store and pick up a couple pregnancy tests. I don't have the necessary equipment here."

   Your stomach dropped. "W-What?"

   The doctor's eyes widened. "N-No! Don't jump to conclusions, sweetie. We don't actually know if you're pregnant or not."

   "M-My mate is a celebrity in Korea! I-I can't raise a baby alone!"

   "I'm sure you're not even pregnant, sweetie. Just take one or two to be sure."

   With tears streaming down your face, you held a positive pregnancy test. You had tried three of them, and they all came back positive. Why was your luck so terrible?

   As harsh sobs began to wrack your body, you grabbed your phone and dialed Taehyung's number. You knew that you had to inform your mate as soon as possible, even if he got angry with you.

   "Hi, baby!" Taehyung exclaimed once he picked up the facetime call. He immediately noticed the tears streaming down your face. "Baby, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Did something happen?" Instead of answering, you reached over, grabbed the test, and held it up to the camera.

   "Wha—" Taehyung froze. Slowly, he brought the camera closer to his face and gasped once he knew what it was. "B-Baby—"

   "I'm pregnant, Taehyungie!" you cried as you buried your face in your hands. "I'm pregnant and all alone!" Taehyung burst out into hysterical sobs.

   "I'm so sorry, my babies!" Taehyung sobbed as endless tears flowed out of his tear ducts. "I'm g-going to m-miss my baby's birth!"

   "T-Taehyung, I can't raise a b-baby by myself," you wept as you held your belly.

   "No, I won't let you! I won't let you!"

   "Taehyung, it's been three months! I'm going to start showing soon!"

   "I'm going to get you here! I promise! I promise!"

   "Taehyung what's going on?" On the other side of the phone screen, the other six members of BTS entered into Taehyung's room, having heard Taehyung's cries. Said man instantly felt anger course through his veins at the sight of his members. He rose to his feet and marched over to the leader, latching onto his collar.

   "You bastards . . ." Taehyung snarled. "I'll fucking kill you!"

   Namjoon was low-key scared.

   "W-What did we do this time?" Jungkook whimpered. He flinched when Taehyung's furious eyes fell on him.

   "YOU GUYS ARE THE REASON I'M NOT WITH MY MATE! I MIGHT MISS MY CHILD'S BIRTH! If I miss my child's birth then I'LL KILL YOU ALL!"

   A sniff broke Taehyung from his rage and he immediately rushed back to his iPad, where the other men saw you sobbing. Taehyung sobbed along with her as the men gathered their thoughts, attempting to understand what Taehyung had just said.

   "W-Wait . . ." Seokjin started, "Y-Y/N's pregnant?"

   Taehyung's silence and refusal to answer his question was all they needed to confirm their suspicions.
