It's Kind Of A Funny Story (ranboo x reader)

Y/n POV

I wake up and see a brunette haired boy with his back to me. I get up and see I'm in someone's elses clothes. I look at the hoodie and let out a sigh of relief, it's Ranboo's merch. Wait, did we do anything last night? I see my costume folded on his desk and Ranboo turns around waking up. He looks at me and sees the confusion on my face. Ranboo speaks up, "Well, good morning. Dont worry! Nothing happened last night. I tried taking you home but you kept saying you didn't want me to leave so I took you here. I helped you change into some of my clothes and your phone is charging on the bedside table along with Advil next to it."

A big smile starts to form on my face. Ranboo really does care that much about me. I jump onto his bed and give him a tight hug "I'm sorry I got really drunk last night. I shouldn't have put that on you. Thank you for taking care of me." I pull away from the hug and he smiles. He tells me he is getting in the shower and leaves the room with a smile on his face. I check my phone and see 11 missed calls from Clay and 47 messages. I quickly call him and he answers screaming "OMG WHERE ARE YOU!? I THOUGHT YOU GOT KIDNAPPED?" I try to calm him down and tell him everything that happened. He does calm down and tells me to next time text him before I stay the night at a friends.

I end the call and Ranboo comes out of his bathroom with only a towel on around his waist. I blush and look away "Shoot, sorry Ranboo!" He laughs and says, "It's ok, at least I have something on, I just forgot clothes." He grabs clothes and walks back into the bathroom.

-time skip-

It's been two weeks and it's November. It's getting colder and Ranboo and I still hang out almost every day. I try to see my other friends and cheer practice has already started. I haven't really been able to stream in a while.

I head into the kitchen to bother Clay because I'm bored, and he gives me the biggest smile. "Y/n! I rented an air bnb and some of the dream smp is coming, and Ranboo, of course!" (remember ranboo joined november 27th!) The biggest smile also forms on my face. He gives me the list of people going:

George, Sapnap, Niki, Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, Minx, Quackity, Technoblade, and Karl.

Excited, I run to my room to pack since we are leaving tomorrow. I facetime Ranboo and we pack on facetime together. We talk about things to do, like go to the beach, the arcade, dinners, and I remember, my birthday is in five days. I'm not quite sure what to do. I don't want to make a big deal, so I don't bring it up.

Sunday:

I wake up to my annoying alarm and get ready for the airplane ride to California. I have never been there and I am super excited! Ranboo has a seat next to Clay and me as well. I know this week is going to be fun. Who cares if I miss a week of school. It is totally worth it, Ranboo and I can also catch up together and help each other.

We pick Ranboo up from his house and start heading to the airport. The car ride is short and awkward, but we manage to get there in one piece. We park and drag our luggage to get our tickets. We go through security and apparently, Ranboo has his ears pierced. I never knew. His hair is so damn long so I can't ever see his ears.

We arrive at our gate and have 10 minutes to grab snacks. We head to a store and grab Doritos and coke. We make it time when they call for our flight, and we're first class. (Perks of having a famous brother :) hehe) We board and I scream "WINDOW SEAT" and sit down. Ranboo sits in between Clay and me and looks at me. I catch him looking and say "Like what you see?" And he gets all flustered. I nudge him in the arm and everyone else boards on the plane.

The plane starts moving and Ranboo looks tense. I take his hand and squeeze it, he then tells me "I'm a little bit afraid of planes... haha". I smile at him and say "Don't worry, I'm here. Do you want the window seat? That used to help me with my plane anxiety?" He looks at me and frowns "No, I feel bad, you look so happy there." I unbuckle my seatbelt and Clay says "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" In a whisper scream. "I actually want the middle seat so I'm switching with Ranboo.". I unbuckle Ranboo's seatbelt and pull him out of his seat and sit down. He looks at me and smiles. I hold his hand again and we take off into the air.

The flight was long, half the time Ranboo and Clay rested their head on my shoulders, and the other half I rested by head on Ranboo's shoulders. We both enjoyed each others company. When the plane lands, I take Ranboo's hand again and help him calm down.

We come to a full stop and everyone gets up and gets their bag. We exit the airplane and see Technoblade standing there on his phone. I run up to him and hug him, he is like an uncle to me. He's the one who taught me how to play Minecraft when he came to Florida to visit. He looks at me and says "Damn your tall! What are you, 5'6 now?" I giggle and nod my head. He looks at Ranboo and they hug even though they have had little interaction before. When he greets Clay, they do this whole handshake, ugh old people. (dream is 21 in the story, I just thought this was funny)

We all load our things into Technoblade's car and he drives us to the air bnb.
