Camila POV

After my last patient left, I went into Addison's office and saw that she still had her last patient there.

,,Still not ready?" I asked her.

,,This is my last one, but I'm trying to figure out if this is normal or not." She said and showed me the problem.

,,It's nothing bad, just a caries, but you should do another appointment to get that fixed because it looks like it will take a while." I said and both the patient and Addison nodded.

,,Thanks, little genius." Adi said and I laughed lightly.

,,I've to go and pick up Riley now. Are you and Stacy coming over later today?" I asked.

,,Of course. I'm so excited to hear how Riley's first day was." Adi said.

,,Me too! That's why I'm going now."

,,See you later, babes." Addison and I laughed lightly while I exited her office.

I walked in Shawn's office next, to see that he had a patient there. He saw me and gave me a big smile.

,,Are you going?" He asked and I noticed that the patient was Mary.

,,Hey, Mila." Mary said.

,,Hey. What are you doing here?" I asked Mary and walked to Shawn to give him a hug.

,,Anyways, I've to go and pick up the little princess." I said with a smile.

,,Of course! Don't make her wait!" Mary said in a funny way.

,,Shawn, you have to send the photos we made this morning in the group chat." I said.

,,Oh right. I've almost forgotten." Shawn said and I got on my tiptoes to kiss him one more time before I had to go.

,,See you later." I said and fixed his hair a little.

,,Goodbye, Doctor Cabello." Liliana said when I passed her.

Since Shawn and I got engaged, Liliana stopped hitting on him and started being.... friendly?.... towards me.

Anyways, I made my way to the kindergarten and I was so excited and curious for Riley to tell me how her first day was. When I got at the kindergarten, there were a lot of parents picking up their children so I just made my way to Riley's classroom.

Right when I entered, Riley ran to me and wrapped her tiny arms around my leg. I kneed in front of her so she could put her arms around my neck and that's what she did. I stroke her back lightly while she held me tight.

,,How was your day, baby?" I asked her, but she didn't let go or answer my question.

I moved my hands to stroke her head and that's when I noticed that her crown was gone.

,,Riley, where is your crown?" I asked her and that's when she broke the hug and I saw she was crying. My poor baby was crying...
