Side Chapter - Pillar Training

"Ah! (Y/N)-sama! Are those the trainees?" Daki cheerfully asked as she gave the slayers a wide grin, showing off her fangs.

"They're Demons...."

"Those are the Twelve Kizuki...."

The slayers flinched when they saw the demons walking towards them.

"Boo."

One of the slayers shrieked in fear as they looked down to see Rui.

"Ara ara~ Rui, don't scare them away~" Douma exclaimed as he patted Rui's head. "Sorry about that." Rui said with a laugh as he looked at the slayer and gave him a peace sign.

"They're going to be training with us for 2 weeks, right?" Akaza asked to which you nodded in reply.

"It's just like what we normally do in training except they're all going to join us." you said.

"Man, sounds fun." Gyuutarou muttered while Daki nodded in agreement.

"They better show progress in the training." Kokushibo said as he crossed his arms and looked at the trainees behind you.

"Let's get to training!" you announced with a bright smile.  The Demon Slayers blushed as they looked at you.

"Yeah! Let's have fun!" Douma exclaimed as he looked at the slayers with a sinister smile.

The slayers turned to look at the demons and saw them staring. They felt a chill run down their spine when they saw the demons' eyes have a red glint in them.

"We're going to die."

"This isn't heaven anymore..."

"It's hell..." the slayers mumbled as their faces paled.

Tanjiro and Zenitsu sweat dropped at their fellow slayers.

"Yeah! I'll become stronger!!" Inosuke yelled out as the other slayers looked at him.

'Does he have a death wish?' the slayers thought at the same time.

"That's the spirit Inosuke-kun! I'll cook you tempura as much as you like!" you exclaimed as Inosuke pumped his fist in the air. "Alright!!" Inosuke shouted.

"I think I get it now." Tanjiro muttered as Zenitsu looked at him.

"What is it, Tanjiro?" Zenitsu asked.

"The rumors are somehow true but it's directed to the wrong person." Tanjiro replied, making Zenitsu become even more confused.

"It's Douma-san and the others. They're the 'dangerous and scary' people, not (Y/N)-san." Tanjiro explained as he smelt the fear coming from the slayers around him.

"The others are radiating off a scent of fear." Tanjiro told Zenitsu. "Now that you mention it, I can hear their hearts beating really fast. It's like they're almost gonna faint." Zenitsu said as he cupped his ear.

Daki and Rui were assigned to stretch the slayers out to their full extent.

"Gyahhh!!!" A slayer cried out as he felt some of his bones popping.

"Come on, don't be such a crybaby." Daki said as she used her ribbons to grab the demon slayers and stretch them.

"Think of this as a warm up. We're preparing you all for what you will be dealing today." Rui said as he pulled on his strings to catch the slayers that were about to escape.
