Y/n's POVMy eyes were blinded by the bright lights coming from above. I needed a second to remember where I was and growled at the thought to get up. This bed was not the most comfortable but it had covers, and a mattress, unlike the one I had before. I turned around so I was facing the wall and hid my face where toe bed met the wall. My eyes were about to close again but then I remembered the conversation I had yesterday with the blond lady. "You will find a uniform on that table in the morning and you will get ready immediately as soon as the lights will turn on" Shit!
I jumped up and winced in pain. Everything was still sore. From the cuffs, the men grabbing y arms, the exercises, everything. I still stood up and hurried to the attached bathroom. I was as fast as I could and got bac into the room with the bed and saw indeed a uniform, no something like a bathing suit but not for swimming. The fabric felt more like sport pants or something. I stripped out of my clothes and placed them, folded, on the table. I got into the suit and it was very tight, but it fitted. There were pointe shoes under the table and assumed I had to put them on as well. So I did.
I stood there, ready to go, debating on whether it was a good idea to open the door or not. I had the urge to make everything perfect, it was nearly strange how bad I wanted it. Maybe I was drugged or something. I mean, I still could not remember my name, or how my life was before this place. I decided that I could not do anything for remembering if I really was drugged or something.
I slowly opened the door and saw a hallway. Similar door to the one I was standing in. Plain grey with a few black and red stripes and no signs or different colored lights except from the one small light strip that were tugged into the transition between wall and ceiling. I looked to my right and saw no one. Not even another door that did not look like mine. I tuned my head to the left and saw a massive glass door at the end of the hallway.
I slowly stepped out of the door, not really convinced by the idea because I did not know what I was going to do or If I was getting in trouble for stepping out of this room without permission. What would happen if I was taking a step outside this door. With a closer look I noticed the doors also had numbers on it. I turns to my door and it also had a number on it: 593! I started feeling weird.
In this lab and in the cell I was stubborn like a rock but now, I was anxious I think. That feeling of helplessness and loneliness did not bother me there, why now? I noticed my hands were shaking from how nervous I was. The step outside the door was the hardest to make in that moment. After that one step I closed the door behind me and walked towards that giant glass door.
When I reached it I looked through t and saw the same woman as yesterday standing in another room, separated by another glass door. I tried to open the door and it worked. I stepped in the room. The room was not small, many kinds of weapons on the wall, all with numbers on it. There was weapons from floor to ceiling, and the room was high. On each side were glass doors, on two three sides were also glass walls around these doors, just not on the side I came from.
The left door and the right one both led to another room with a wooden flooring, mirrors on two opposite sides of the room, the opposite side to the glass wall covered with pixeled windows. On two sides close to the wall: ballet poles. The room the middle door was leading to was into another hallway with another door at the end, which you could not look through.
I got lost in looking until I heard a sharp voice on my right side, jumping a little when I noticed her existence while she just glared at me. "Where were you? You are late!", she raised her voice at the last bit and I gulped and looked down not knowing if I should say something. I eventually said: "I am sorry-" she immediately cut me off: "NO! You will not apologize! Apologies doesn't cover up what you did. That will be your first lesson for today: You will not apologize! Never! You did a mistake and you cannot undo it and apologies are just a waste of time! Yours and mine!"
"Yes, ma'am" I said on point. She quickly eyed me up and down, and stepped aside and said "Go in line and stay behind Natalia in the back of the line! Listen, look and copy. No talking!" I kept my head down, wondering why she had a name and I did not. I still did not know the name of the woman I was practically obeying. I went into the room in the back of the line, behind a red haired girl. She was skinny, had beautiful curves and the most beautiful emerald eyes I have ever seen!
My eyes locked with hers for a second when I was going in line behind her. "Один" (one) she said and the girls moved, their heel to heel, feet turned to the outside and forming a perfect line. Their arms in a circle without their fingertips touching, loose yet strong and tense in front of their bodies.
"Два" (two) she counted along once she quickly eyed every girl in her position and the girls moved again, hands and feet further apart yet having itself in the same position like before. I tried to copy but my knees hurt a little when I tried to bend it like they did. The woman eyed all of us and looked at me in a slight sceptic way.
"Три" (three) They moved again, feet closer than at one, next to each other and yet building a horizontal line under their bodies, slightly overlapping but not completely. The left arm back into the first position, the right one staying as before.
"Четыре" (four) the left arm going up in a light bow and the right arm going back to the first position, but a little bit more straightened than before. This times the feet were moving even closer, standing horizontal and side to side, left toes pointing to the left and right toes pointing to the right but right toes not touching the left heel while the left toes did touch the right heel. My knees were giving up on that point. She eyed us once again and I looked down to my feet trying to move them correctly. "Head up, eyes straight!", she said in a monotone yet demanding tone.
I was straightening my neck, looking forward onto Natalia's head and quickly saying "I'm sorry", regretting it the moment I said it remembering her words. "What did I tell you?" her voice was filled with anger and disapproval. I did not want to answer but she asked me a question so I figured I had to answer. "No Apologies. They are a waste of time and an apology does not undo the mistake." I was not loud, but not quiet saying that. I said it with a clear voice, not questioning that she wanted to hear what I said and I was right
"Correct! Because you made this mistake, you will be punished! No food for you today." My eyes widened in shook, I tried to hide it but I sure was not good at it. She turned around and I noticed she wrote something down on a piece of paper, laying on a small table at the wall. The other girls still standing in "four" or whatever that meant. She turned back around and looked to us.
"Пять" (five) both hands over head making a circle, feet perfectly lined up, horizontal parallel to each other, knees overlapping completely. We repeaded that five positions for hours and hours, no break, no water, no food. Well, not for me.
