It was around the afternoon, all the students have finished their classes as they were now in their dorms hanging out with their dorm mates or in the library studying. Not to mention some students were probably on dates since the weekend is coming up.

The atmosphere of the library was quite, candles were dimly lit as the sun was starting to set. The fire being lit has given some warmth to the room as the weather has recently started gettin colder. Hermione was sitting down at a table far yet close, close enough to see her. Oh sorry, you haven't been caught up. Someone had peaked the brunettes interest, the problem?

Yeah, they don't know her. How ironic right?

Y/N was her name, she had recently caught Hermione's eye as she had shamelessly kept an eye on the Y/H/H girl until then. She was reserved, quiet. Hermione had never seen them talk to anyone else until the school as it seems that they only care about their studies. She had never even heard them spoke.

And there she was, in the library. She had seemed to have already finished a few books within such a short amount of time, maybe she was skimming through them? Who knows. But whatever it was, it most definitely peaked the brunette's interest.

Hermione was sitting down at one of the tables in the back of the library where nobody went to she could steadily keep a close eye to the mysterious girl. She wondered how she could talk to the girl, get her to even respond is her main priority.

The bushy-haired girl was so in her head that she didn't even hear footsteps approaching towards her. Once they had gotten to Hermione's table, they snapped their fingers, successfully catching her attention as the Gryffindor spun her head towards the person.

Hermione felt her heart stop. Their eyes connected. Y/N gave her a curious grin, "Since I could feel how your eyes have been staring at me the moment you saw me, I'm assuming you know who I am?" They asked slyly, a stupid smile spread across their lips.

Hermione flushed, closing her eyes then let out a sigh, "I'm sorry. I've just-"

"Just what, love?"

Love. Does she call everyone that?

"Just been curious about you."

"And why's that?"

Hermione eyes subtly widened, why was she curious about the girl?

She answered honestly, "I don't know."

Y/N gave her a disappointed grin, her teasing banter wasn't working like she wanted it to. She tapped her fingers on the table once before sitting down next to Hermione, "Then why don't we find out? Together."
