She stared at him in shock. "You'd leave me for him, the better guy." He said and she took the pause time to interrupt him. "Get back together with my abusive.. manipulative... stalker ex? Are you losing your mind Nick?" She said and he flinched. "You don't understand. I don't like dating people, let me explain myself before you interrupt." He snapped causing her to now flinch.

"You loved him at one point. What says you won't fall for him again and sleep with him while I'm not there and have no proof that he didn't tell the truth." He said and she crossed her arms. "I didn't give you the chance to explain because in my mind, you would've said lies. When Dream told me everything I knew then that it wasn't the truth and that I fucked up. I lost you Dahlia, you can't seem to understand that." He said aggressively.

"In my mind, you slept with him because I did something wrong. I was too far so I couldn't do anything. I cried Lia, I did. I was pissed at first because it wasn't photoshopped and you looked peaceful." He told her and she remained silent and blank. "I can't explain to you the regret I feel. I love you so much and don't want to lose you again. I really understand that I messed up big time okay?" He finished and she stood up, he watched her as she stood there standing.

He stood up himself and watched her quietly. He felt his heart pound. Lia approached him, and his breathing quickened. Before he could comprehend what was happening she was inches away from him.

She stood on her toes and angled her head up towards him And breathed against his lips. "You're a lucky bitch." She whispered, but he cut her off by pressing his lips against hers. She put her hands around his neck as he rested his hands on her hips. The world seemed to stop around them, Dahlia was in a daze, blissful to be in his grasp and still be the only person who he loved.

They eventually pulled away for air, she smiled at him as their foreheads touched. "This doesn't mean I forgive you." She said and he smiled at her. "I know." He whispered and they stood up.

The next day she woke up early, head pounding. She looked at Sapnap and rolled her eyes, she needed to get her feelings sorted out. She was not ready to be in a relationship with him fully again, not after him hurting her the way he had.

She was still healing mentally, and being around him wasn't helping like she wanted it to. She stood up and exited the bedroom, heading to the bathroom. She sighed and cleaned herself up, and reapplied makeup to her face. She left the bathroom and noticed her stuff was in the spare bedroom. She met Dream in the living room and avoided his gaze.

"Lia," he began but she turned to face him as he entered the kitchen. She stared at him as he tried to speak. "Look I'm sorry, I really tried to tell him." He explained and she rolled her eyes. "I know Dream, I just can't handle.. everything. It's overwhelming." She told him and sighed. He nodded and backed off. "I ordered you a new pc and gaming stuff. It'll be here today, it's gonna be set up in the room you're staying in." He said and she rolled her eyes.

Hours passed and she avoided Sapnap like he had the plague. She had nothing to say to him after last night and knew he'd try to apologize yet again. "Dahlia open the door." Sapnap begged. The devil himself was at the door, she had the spare bedroom door locked and groaned after he didn't give up.

She walked to the door and opened it. She crossed her arms, "what did I do?" He said helplessly. "You did a lot actually. Want me to list it all off for you?" She snapped. He sighed in defeat. "Can we try to go back to being friends? Something at least, not just you being someone who lives in my home." He asked and she scoffed. "I'm done fighting, after last night I have a lot to think about. I don't even know why I let you kiss me." She said and began to close the door again. "Does this mean we're over?" He asked quietly and she narrowed her eyes. "I guess so." She said and locked the door. She heard his footsteps leave and she sighed.
