Maya's POV:

Soo apparently after I fell asleep yesterday, I slept until this morning.

Wow I was tired.

"Hey Riles..." I say sitting up.

"Hiya."

Riley's been awake for a while i'm guessing.

"Ready to go to the beach?" She asks.

"Eh, why not."

I get my blue bikini and slip it on, and put a lace dress on over top of it. I leave my hair down.

"You ready?" Riley asks.

"Yepp. Lets go." I reply.

Lucas's POV:

I go the beach, and start looking for Riley and Maya.

I spot them.

Riley's POV:

I see Lucas at the beach, and I decide to go walk somewhere else to give them some privacy.

Maya's POV:

"Umm, hey Maya. Im gonna go get some fro-yo okay?" Riley says.

"Okay. Bring me one too." I reply.

"Alrighty,"

Its quiet for a minute, then I hear a familiar voice.

"Maya?"

I turn around.

"L-lucas..?"

"Maya, can we talk?"

"No...I think it'd be best if you just go."

"Maya. We need to talk."

"Lucas. No we dont."

"We need to get past this, okay? Whatever this is."

"This is nothing. We have nothing, okay? You...you left me..." My voice cracks. "Everyone leaves me. Its not fair. But you know what? Your not the first one. Its fine. Its whatever."

"Maya...I didn't know, okay? I'm sorry. I was just still in shock because of- ya know. You were the only one there...And I had nobody to take it out on. Nothing was really your fault. I'm so sorry." He says.

I hesitate. "Lucas..."

"Maya...I love you."

I take a deep breath. "I...love you too."

Lucas grabs my face and gives me a gentle kiss.

We seperate and I give him a big hug. It lasted for what seemed like forever.

Riley approaches clapping. I smile at her.

"Lookie here. Maya and Lucas. Back together."

"Yeah...we are." I say.

I hold Lucas's hand...and I realized that I truly do still love him...and I never wanted to let go.
