Keith X Reader || Why do you see me?

Keith looks kinda overwhelmed with this situation. You understand, you just told him about 600 years of your history in.. a few minutes? "Sorry, I know it's a lot to process." You tell him, trying to take the pressure from him.
"I.. I can't imagine.. what all of the stuff you went through must've been like. I'm so sorry about your family.. but you're very strong. For living on like you did after what you experienced. I know they're not here but I believe your family would be very proud of you. After all these years of being on your own.. you still haven't given up. On hope. On the good in people. On helping others. You're amazing. I wish everyone could see how amazing you are."
While saying this he looks from you to outside the window and then back to you. He seems fascinated.. and so careful with what he says.

You don't know what to tell him. Someone else having an opinion about your life.. about yourself, you forgot what this is like. And how much you needed this assurance from someone.
"I didn't know it but I really needed to hear what you just said.. it feels really good to have someone to just share with who I am, what happened to me. Thank you for your kind words. I've already learnt to move on from my past, so I don't want you to worry about it, okay? But if there's anything you can think of that might make be seen by others again from it, tell me. Also if at any time you want to talk about your past I'd love to hear about it too.. But right now we don't have forever so we can just start by looking through this book, am I right?"
You look at him, he looks at the book.

He seems to be lost in thoughts. He realizes you looking at him "Oh sorry, yes we can start.. And I'd love to tell you more about me sometime too but for now let's look at what we can find out. I have to say I can't come up with any reason for your invisibility from what you've told me.. maybe if I put some more time in it.. But yeah, let's just look at the book" he smiles nervously and you both begin flipping through the pages.

It turns out Keith can't read the old Skydira language the book is written in, so you have to translate important passages for him.
You've only begun looking for clues in the book when Keith already gets called back to the ship he came from by one of the people there. You remember that he's currently on a mission. "Go ahead, you can return to your ship, I'll search more on my own.. And when you have time again you can come here again." You tell him. Obviously you really like having him and want him to stay but you know that that would be selfish. You can't keep him from helping a lot of people just to get help for yourself.

Keith looks at you sadly "Are you sure? It might take.. a long time until I can come back here. Our missions sometimes go on for half a year. We also usually don't return to an area we were in for a long time."
"Yeah it's okay.. don't worry." you tell him. But you know that even though you're going to live for a long time he may not.. And he might be the only chance you have.
Keith waits for a short time staring at the floor. You can see he's not happy, but he starts walking away. As he heads into the forest you look at him from the garden.

He turns around and asks once again
"Are you sure about this?"
.. You know you aren't.. You want him to help others.. but if he helps you.. that's also helping others.
"No... wait.." you tell him hesitantly.
His expression shifts, he looks at you surprised.
Then you get an idea.

"Do you think I could.. come with you? I know no one else will see me but that might be an advantage, that way you won't have to worry about introducing me to anyone. I could just.. stay there in the ship, and sometimes, when you have time we can meet up." Then you see both of your wolves coming out of the forest.
"Oh and I'd also take my wolf.. but others can see him so you would have to introduce him.. tell the others you.. found him here I guess?" you ask Keith, hoping with all of your heart he would agree, this is your chance.

Still surprised he asks "Is it really okay for you to just leave this place?"
"Yes, I always want to get out there and see how the people are so it would be really great, I'd also see how you guys help others which would be amazing. Plus this way you can continue your mission while we both try to figure out what's going on with me."

Keith smiles "Well, then let's go!" "Alright!" with the same excitement he seems to have you start heading to him but then remember that you have a house.. with belongings in it.
"Ah, let me just quickly get the book" you tell Keith as you go towards your wolf, you teleport into the house and you take the book with you.. you'll be fine without the other things, you think, but you'll kinda miss living in this small house.
"So your wolf teleports as well?" Keith asks as you teleport back in the garden. "Yeah, yours too?" You ask him and he nods.
"Ok, ready?" Keith asks. "Ready." you answer and both of you start running towards the ship, you laugh, feeling free somehow, Keith laughs as well.

From how you've perceived him up until now he doesn't seem like a person who is very emotional all of the time so you really appreciate seeing him this happy. After having teleported down and run some more you finally arrive at the ship of the Blade of Marmora, at least at one of their ships.
"Wow this is huge." you tell Keith,
he nods and tells you "We're on a bigger mission right now."

One of the members then asks Keith if he's ready and he nods, realizing he should stop talking to you in front of the other people since you're invisible to them.
He heads inside the ship and you follow him.
Inside Keith introduces your wolf to the people that ask about him, telling them that he found him in a place that could only be reached when you teleport. You're amazed by all the tech in the ship and Keith tries talking with you whenever he can, without being noticed by others.

time skip overview: Around 1 month passes where Keith goes on different missions, you also do the best you can to help him.
You both find a few passages in the book related to invisibility and wolves but don't really find an answer yet, Keith spends a lot of his spare time with you.
You've gotten to know each other better, you now know that Keith isn't a very social person, he wants the best for others but isn't the one who talks a lot. He can be very reckless but also super smart. You've also learned that Keith rarely makes jokes but when he does you think it's very cute.
He tells you a few things about the adventures he went on with Voltron, which you're amazed by.
He also explains that even though the Blade of Marmora is focused on helping people in need by giving them supplies and other things they need they still fight against people who attack others violently, people who try to take over planets or exploit the inhabitants. They do this by capturing these attackers instead of killing them, they don't want to be a violent organization but in order to protect some people they still fight.
