Keith X Reader || Why do you see me?

"I was getting these thoughts.. that what we're doing.. all the research about this invisibility thing, figuring out why I am invisible and how we could fix that.. that it might just.. not be worth it. I know we're already helping others but the time we put in this.. that time could be used to help even more people. It just seems selfish to me to work on this for so long. It's enough for me that you can see me. It already makes me very happy. And that Acxa sees me is great too.. Maybe we could just.. use the wolves a few more times and that'll be enough. I don't need everyone to see me." Still holding your knees you look at the floor again.. now he knows.

"But.. do you want everyone to see you?" Keith asks you.
You wait for a short time. Thinking about how great that would be.. just living out there like all those other beings.. being able to make new friends.. spend time with them and Keith anywhere.
"Of course.. I.. That would be the best.. That's what I wanted for a long time. But like I said.. how it is right now, that's fine to me as well."
You look up to Keith.

He looks at the floor, suddenly his face turns more determined, more focused, then he says
"It's not fine to me. You deserve to be seen by everyone. They should know who helped them.. And thank you for it. I already told you but.. I want them to look at you with that gratefulness.. I just know it would make you so happy. And all the other possibilities you'd have.. the experiences you can make."
You're kind of surprised to see how important this is to him.
He looks at you
"That's why I think that what were doing.. Is more than worth it. It's even going to help others not just you.. think of all the people you could help if we didn't have to watch out about anyone noticing you.. Also we could find out what happened to your race. If there are any other skydiras out there.. So please.. don't feel insecure about if what were doing is right." His voice changes from a loud, determined one to a soft one.
"You're very selfless for thinking like you do.. You care so much for others.. You even did so for all those years you were invisible, doing whatever you can to help others.
I'm just saying.. You have to care for yourself that way too."

You look at him with big eyes. Your heart feels 10 pounds lighter. What he said is true.. All those good chances that could come if you did figure out a way to take your invisibility away.. You say to Keith
"I've gotten so used to being invisible.. I've forgotten to think about all the possibilities that could come with me becoming visible for everyone again. You're.. right. Before I felt so scared.. not knowing if what we're doing really is right. But now I realize.. that it is important. We should continue." You smile and see Keith smile as well.

Then you yawn.. It's pretty late already. Your wolves have already fallen asleep.
Keith yawns as well. He looks adorable..
Then he says "But for now let's go to sleep."
"Yeah I'm so tired now. Thank you for listening.." You tell him.
He nods and lays on his bed, you lean against your wolf.

With your eyes closed you hear Keith say "I hope you feel better now. Just so you know, I feel a lot better now.. I'm very glad you told me even if it might have been hard to do so. I appreciate that you trust me."
You smile "That makes me very happy, you know. I feel better too, having told you makes me feel relieved. Sharing what bothers you really makes it a lot easier to deal with. Thank you for worrying about me.. I get now that that's actually a good thing. If there's ever anything bothering you I want you to tell me about it too, okay?"

"Okay. Well.." You hear him yawning again and laugh quietly then you hear him laugh as well.
"But now, for real.. Good night, have good dreams!" He tells you.
"You too! Good night."
After this, for the first time in a few weeks you fall asleep peacefully, not being bothered by the insecurities you just told Keith about.
